Richardson is a red blooded American by birth and relevant experience. Richardson has excellent experience to run for President. He was our top diplomat at the United Nations, Ran the Dept. of Energy under Clinton. Richardson also has shown excellent skills dealing with other Counties on major problems.
He also is Latin and could communicate the needs of the United States to the Leadership of Mexico in Spanish if necessary.

I'll sure as hell take him over the Governor of Texas. At least he's not a former frat boy, alcoholic, coke snorting, religious zealot. I think a good policy would be approving troop level increases on the condition that his daughters enlist in the military and see action on the ground.

Bill Richardson would make a fine president. Very intelligent and capable, likely a future VP first. Not my first choice, though.

I don't know how he feels about "illegals" since he is of Mexican heritage. Time magazine called him, "beefy, cigar-chomping" and has the ability to "spin a tale."
He should fit right in with Clinton followers....

I like him. Seems like a man of integrity. I disagree with him on a lot of things, but I agree on some things, too.
Basically, like a lot of people on here have said, "Not my first choice, but certainly not my last."
