Democrats in the House just passed legislation to end tax loopholes and force oil companies to pay their rightful royalties, but Republicans are against it, because they think oil company profits are more important than balancing the budget and funding alternative energy.

Do you agree with the Republicans?

Should pakistan, India and Bangladesh combine togather again and be one big country again??
I was just looking into history and this thought crossed my mind. These nations were created to separate people on the bases of their religion. Pakistan for muslims and Hindustan (India) for hindus. I guess british wanted to **** us all up big time. None the less India today does not impose any religion on her citizens. As years pass by Bangladesh, Pakistan and India are coming closer togather. They all look for similarities and call themselves "Desis".
Obviously this is just a crazy thought. But it is not all that bad. Think about it, we will have no more Kashmir dispute. Terrorism will be more controlled. No more problem of securing india-bangladesh border. We might even make a big and stronger country.

Your thoughts on this....?

Yes I know, heard it before...not me but someone I know. Actually, I don't know them, but know their parents.
Ok, this is in Canada. They were caught shoplifting, taken to the local police and charged. Released after paying $500 and told to come back to court in about a month. This was in another province they were visiting. They never went back to court. So our questions are...Would the police "come get them?", put out a warrant for them, and if they apply for a passport, will they get it? I know, lots of questions, but I told them I would look it up.

regardless of your opinion of him, don't you think it's sort of... "hip" and "trendy" to insult the president? no matter WHO that president is...? we have been making fun of our presidents for so long, don't some of you think it's just- a FAD?? I was wondering if this landlord is doing illegal "STEERING" or if this is still steering.

We live in their apartmens already.But when our 2 year old knew how to jump tthe office sent us letters.And than they asked us if we wanted to move somewhere else in their building.
is this still called "steering" cause steering is illegal.And i wanted to know morei nformation on this "steering" stuff that landlords are not aloud to do.

for believing that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (of which there were some found, old or not), would that then make the Democrats (Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and others) who voted to approve the war, liars as well?

I really don't think he should be and here's why. I really don't think that the majority of white people in the United States would vote for black man, and especially considering that he has a Muslim father, I'm sure the republicans will smear that all over the media in order to destroy Obama's image. At this point American cannot afford to lose another election to the Republicans.
