The Federal Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act mandates that hospitals with emergency facilities have to provide treatment for anyone who comes through their doors - illegal immigrants included.
Hence, the illegal immigrants use the emergency rooms for their general health care.
Annual costs?
Florida $165 Million
Texas $330 Million
California $350 Million
In Arizona, the Health Department estimates that over 30% of emergency department visits to their hospitals are by illegal immigrants. In Cochise County alone, this amounts to over $15 Million annually!
These costs do not include incarceration, public schooling, identity theft, crime or any welfare benefits.
In answer to your question, I guess I'd have to say both.

they are neither in denial or delusional. they are desperate. They understand, with the acceptance of the tea events, that countless them, which incorporate Harry Reid, are going to be voted out of workplace, and lose administration of Congress, except they do something.
