other than the fact that their leaders are religious gihadists.
Is this another WMD scenario

Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.

Remember, Bunny, that with great power comes great responsibility.

Would you allow your unfriendly and rude neighbor to have a tank? I don't think so!

So it's the same case with Iran. They have called for Israel to be moved to Europe and have wished for Israel to be "wiped out" of the map.

This is not a peaceful mindset and these people DON'T deserve the power that nuclear weapons will give them.

In other words, the Iranian mindset is just too small to handle the great responsibility of nuclear technology.

The biggest reason is because their government is UNSTABLE with a TON of oppressed citizens. Then throw in some religious fanatics in positions of power. It is kind of like covering yourself with oil, rolling around in gunpowder and then jumping through a bon-fire thinking that "someone" will protect you because you are RIGHT.

It is without a doubt another WMD deal and I believe that they are making them. They are some third-world, PI**ANT country attempting to get a little respect through FEAR.

If the government were stable, open to DISCUSSION and reasonable by WORLD standards (NOT necessarily US) then a solution could be found that everyone could live with in peace.

Look at India and Pakastan doing the same BS.

I do NOT care who it is but a NUKE program takes actual tests; when was the last time one of the "Free Nations" did a test? We have it, we know it works and don't screw with it. WHY?

Because it BURNS THE SH** out of the ozone layer! They don't just burn a hole above Iran or India because the earth has a habit of rotating so we all get to share with a GREAT TAN and skin cancer. It messes with the climate and a TON of other issues. You might be interested to know that several well known scientists, Steven Hawking for one, have stated tha global warming is a MUCH BIGGER issue than ANY War.

Maybe you should look outside the box at YOUR future on this earth. I will be in the ground before it becomes a real problem, but what about you and your children?

There is no reason why Iran should not have nuclear energy. But the fear is what Iranian leaders might do if they had nuclear weapons. Unfortunately, it might be difficult (though not impossible) for Iran to have the use of nuclear power without having nuclear weapons.

Again, no reason why Iran shouldn't be able to use nuclear energy in the same way that North America does for every day energy needs. Its the idea of them having weapons that scare most people.

Its simple, this is coming from a country that wants to wipe another country (israel) off the map, and their leader has been on television saying this, as well as doubting the actual happening of the holocaust. Im not defending Israel, but i know that I wouldnt want someone who goes on world public television saying he wants my country wiped off the map to have nuclear weapons, not should any other country want them to have it.

Other than the fact that President Ahmadinejad said he wants to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth? The same guy that said the Holocaust never happened.

there is no reason they should not have energy. the problem is that they do not need the energy and are attempting to use a smoke screen to cover the nuke program they have been tirelessly on for years. once they are nuked-up they will not hesitate to use them. the President their already said Israel should be wiped off of the map, and European countries should be careful of the help they are giving Israel.

Well you keep using the word scenario like fantasy, and I will guarantee you, those scum suckers will have your @ss.

Learn to spell the word jihad, because that is what we are fighting!

If you are wondering what a wait and see approach to this problem will be like, think back to 9/11. I would prefer that we kick @ss now and ask questions later. That disgusting, banjo eyed midget has threatened us, he has threatened Israel, and is asking for problems, I say we accomodate him!

Because given the incendiary comments of their leader, it's doubtful that they'll use it responsibly.

How would you have answered this question in 1937:
Why shouldn't Germany have nuclear energy?

do you honestly think they need it for the power? They sit on one of the worlds largest oil reserves, yet the need it for power? Its not like they have liberal weenie tree huggers there to fight for the enviornment either! They are floating on oil. The crap is free for them They pay like a nickle a gallon, yet some actually believe they want it soley for nuclear power. Yeah right.
I've got a bridge for ya. Real cheap...
