What do you think the effect would be on foreign policy if the United States elected a female President to office, with particular regard to non-democratic nations in the Middle East?

Many countries would find it hard to take us seriously no matter what woman was elected. The nations that most admire strength would have an even worse time accepting a democratic female president. Most already regard the democrats as weak bootlickers, in their minds a female in charge would only prove it. A strong female might be able to change their minds but it would be an uphill fight.

I'm not in any way opposed to a female president and would welcome one with some workable ideas, the rest of the world can accept it or not. It really isn't any of their business who we elect. All she would have to do is demonstrate she has honesty and integrity and rational ideas. Its unfortunate that nobody, male or female, that might run for office has any of those qualities.

I think if a woman was elected it would not really make a difference. The Middle Eastern countries would have to deal with it, espically if they are depending on US for support. I think it would be good to have a woman in office..
