We have joint checking account and i would cause me serious financial hardship. Her reasons are many, but basiclly I have done all the work to this newly renovated house and she stayed away a and would not help. Now she is disgrunteld, scorned after she said we were all done and to move on , I did and she got upset to say the least.

America is no longer divided. An overwhelming majority oppose the war. It is America on one side: Bush and the delusional on the other.

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?"

DISAPPROVE: 65%

"All in all, do you think the situation in Iraq was worth going to war over, or not?"

WORTH IT- 34%
NOT WORTH IT - 62%

to me, the electric chair was definitely the most brutal. Having to sit and be fried until you die~ what a way to go. At least with the lethal injection you don't feel any pain....right? you just sort of drift off and pass away, don't you? Also, the firing squad was pretty brutal, as well as the gas chamber, but to me, nothing beats the electric chair.

his neck, and he then sued you for the cost of the kitestrings, would you feel justified in allowing the same man to drown if you found him in trouble again?
My rational is that he has posed a threat to me (emotionally and financially) as a result of me trying to rescue him previously and we are taught that our first responsibility is for our own safety and welfare. (we can't save lives if we're having a breakdown from stress!)

P.S. the cost of these special strings etc. was $600
More than I make in 2 weeks!

We spend a billion dollars every three days or so over in Iraq. Wouldn't it be worthwhile to set aside one billion tax dollars every four years and insist that all presidential candidates use only public funds?

Split the cash evenly between all qualified candidates and see who can make the most of their slice of the pie. Instead of rewarding the best fundraiser, this would show who has the best management skills and the strongest message.

It's one election that makes a massive difference. The cost to us would hardly register, and yet the benifts would be immeasurable. Rather than feeling obliged to reward well-heeled supporters and corporate indulge corporate whims, the leader of our country would for a change owe allegiance only to the people.

Isn't that the way it should be?

Why have democracy in Irak when it does not work in the USA.
Americans clearly voted against the Republicans and the Irak war only to see George Bush send more soldiers there to please the Saudis and Kuwaitis. When will the President pay attention to the American voters and not his oil buddies.
