Or will they just continue to moan and degrade the work of others?

Bush did a great speech compared to the alcoholic democratic senator who offered nothing but his hate.

Do you realize that by voting only for a party instead of people, that if something were to happen to the president and vice president, she would be the president? Is that as scary to you as it is to me?

The current shia friends of US are friends of US just because they can easily settle scores with their enemies, see how the official witnessing Saddam execution shouted Muqtata Al Sadr's name, who is known for his anti US stand. Will these friends turn into US enemies once they had enough settling scores ?

I'd like to hear what both sides have to say on the issue. And please, let's just have an intelligent, thoughtful, civil debate for once. :) Most convincing answer gets ten points.

8 days before Christmas, after 1 1/2 months of waiting, one month longer than they told us, we move in. Well the previous tenant smoked, and drank, and the house reeked. The landlords said they would clean it, but the walls were not painted, the nasty carpet had not been cleaned. The guy lived there for four years, and nothing was done. Well I smoked a cigarette outside, and put the butt on the ground, being there was no where to put it yet in the empty house. The landlord stopped by, saw the butt, and started screaming get out, get out, and running out of the yard like a five year old child. We were confused beign that the prior tenant smoked. there were no repairs to the house, so what is the big deal? Well anyway, we treid calling and calling, and when they answered they would not let us get a wrod in edge wise, and they kicked us out. they broke a oral agreement and now Im screwed. What would you do. She really screwed us

Politics is dirty man.....
Republicans say " We've gotta help the Iraqis, we have to stay" Have any of you met a republican that does something from pure compassion and empathy unless they have something to gain from it??
Democrats say " Let them figure out their own mess" What? Am in the twilight zone or what? What happened to "let's love and hug everyone"?

Don't get it and I'm still on the fence ...whachu think?

I know that I am being a hypocrite bitching about to much bitching, but I am really tired of the liberals complaining on yahoo answers 24/7 about Bush and his "mistakes" even though everything he does with the war in Iraq is approved by liberals in congress. To all the liberals out there. Do you really think that you are going to change anything about the way this country is run by getting on yahoo answers and whining?

Like USA, India too follows the principle of Judicial Review of Parliamentry Acts. Any act which infringes a Basic Right or which purports to change the basic structure of the constitution is void to that extent. The Indian Parliament in the 60s amended its constitution and created a Schedule known as the NINTH SCHEDULE to safeguard any Act being challenged in the Supreme Court. Any act placed in the Ninth Schedule was above Judicial Scrutiny. Today on 11th Jan. 2007 the Supreme Court of India gave a landmark Judgement wherein it said that if the Act which is placed in the said schedule takes away any Basic Right or is not in line with the Constitutional provisions is void and Act put under the said Ninth Schedule is not above Judcial Scrutiny. Cheers!!
