Actually I read that among republicans Bush still has a greater than 50% approval rating. Makes you really wonder about America with Bush pushing for action against Iran, Syria, and sending troops into Somalia I guess everyone has forgotten about North Korea. Could anyone predict the mess that this adminstration has become.
Not shocked to see the ridiculous answers from the republican types ever notice they can never answer with a fact, but a talking point. "We need to defend our country". "I support the war." "It is time of war and we need to stand behind....." Just goes to show weak minds think alike. I mean consider their hero "Bring em on." " I am the decider." Bush
Seeing Jason's answer I have to say one more thing republicans always try to retort with Clinton did this or that. Well, as far as I know he didn't get us in any 300 billion dollar wars, didnt cause 25,000 American casualties or 300,000+ Iraqi ones....it goes on and on.

I respect Bush solely because of the fact he hold the office of President. The decisions he has to make on a daily basis with regard to Iraq possibly affect the lives of tens of thousands of soldiers, thier families, and maybe millions of Iraqis. This is a huge responsibility and committment. Also, no matter what he, or any other President for that matter does, someone will always be pissed off at him. It is not a job I would EVER consider doing.
People can still be Republicans because they see that Bush is not the future of the party. His time will come to end in two years and the party needs to move forward. Like the Democratic party, I would say these groups are bigger than one personality. Bush is a Republican but not all Republicans are like Bush which is equivalent to saying Lieberman is a Democrat but not all Democrats are like Lieberman.

YUP iam! i have differant Veiws i agree wit on both sides but i just posted a Iraq Bullitein that show my Views on that subject which is Gunna be below:::a lil history to remind people why we there 100,000 kurds dead,SARIN,VX, and Mustard Gases controlled by a Crazy Power hungry Dictator, which is not kept safely so TERRORSISTs can get ahold of it and use it on other Nations like the U.S.A....................
Damn you guys why is it all abt the CURRENT president now alot of people would say Clinton is Better but this state is not neccerarely True when Clinton was in Office he approved and ordered a Strike on Iraq from December 16 1998 to December
19 1998 October 31, 1998 president Clinton signed into law H.R. 4655, the "Iraq Liberation Act." The new Act appropriated funds to Iraqi opposition groups in the hope of removing Saddam Hussein from power by force if neccicary and replacing his regime with a democracy. So the Point is If Clinton did not get kicked out of Office we would have been in the same war maybe even earlyier. and i agree wit Bush troop surge is good becuz ither we are there For a long time or we Outnimber and win if we bring the Troops home that will just show the rest of the world that we ARE bullies and destroyers thus more Terrosist groups will attack us...there are around 1000 iraqi Military forces now!
-65% of the militia that are attacking us are from other Islamic goverments that are perticipating in a Global Jihad
-We use to get 24% of our oil from Iraq befor 1990 when we invaded we now get only 16% of our oil from them that is why gas is so much.
-WMD's include Chemical Warfare and Biological Warfare, in 1988 Saddam unleashed SARIN and VX Gas on the Village of Halabja killing 5000 Civillian woman and children and Disabiling 10,000 more so aparently he had WMD's
-My 2 Cusins are over in Iraq, Army and Marines Striker Bregade,Fort Lewis, Washington and they see stuff that we would never see like schools being built and equal rights for woman and they are proud to be there.
-Clinton Luanched many Tomohawk Cruise Missiles at Iraq in 1998 so who started the event leading up to this war, if we leave iraq many more will suffer while more power hungry Islamic leaders tear appart iraq then Terrosists come in!

Of course. Some will stand behind him just because he is a Republican. Just as, some Democrats will rail against him because he is a Repub.
The thing I'm looking for is: THOUGHT!!!
Think about what he has done to this country...
Over 3000 Americans dead, never to come home to their mothers, fathers, wives and children.
Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dead (same scenarios...)
No greater peace on earth, in fact, quite the opposite.
No more surplus of money in our coffers....
A country that is even more hated than it was--the USA--with even more "terrorists" wishing to harm us.
Absolutely NOTHING done about the people who attacked our country.
Many freedoms lost for Americans.
And on and on....
How can a THINKING person support him, no matter what their political "label" may be?
And don't spout that garbage about "supporting our leader"; it is more important, more PATRIOTIC, more in tune with what our Founding Fathers had in mind to voice our opinions and say the President is wrong (if we believe him to be--which I DO), than to blindly say he is our "elected" leader right or wrong. (Besides, who could ever have foreseen a president who would steal an election??? Gore is REALLY our elected leader!!!)

I'm a "Conservative" and yes I admire him. He's been dealt a tough hand. He has to Defend this Country and he's taken that to heart. In the process he has screwed up, and now he takes crap every day about it, and has to have on his conscience the deaths of more and more soldiers. But his first and foremost goal has always been No more 9-11's.
So Admire him ? Hell yes.

I respect the President and the office he holds..,that used to be what America was about.Altho I voted for Clinton and changed my party since the Gore election,I respect whichever President that is in office,I may not like him but I sure in the hell dont believe in calling the current President at a time of war a Nazi or Hitler or what ever choice names the uneducated have called him.Getting sick of the hate from the left wing.,thats why I left the democratic party and became a proud republican President Bush supporter.

Yes! What is wrong with Bush? I fully support the war, I think he had some tough decisions to make. If we didn't go to war, we would continue to be attacked and threatened. Sometimes we have to help others who can't help themselves. People in Iraq want us there. We established voting... how could you question what we are doing over there?
