Bingo, story I heard 2 years ago christmas, will try to make it short.
After the first surge of Fallujah, convoy was doing a sweep.Convoy stopped, guy in back radioed ahead and asked what the problem was.Small girl sitting in the street, they couldnt get around her.Guy in the back goes up to access the situation. He recognized the girl,he had given her a teddy bear during the surge. He asked the girl why she was in the street, she pointed to a spot in the road..,there was a land mine buried there. She was in the street to save our soldiers lives.
You dont hear those stories and the left refuse to see the difference being made, they cant see past the hate that fills the black hearts they hold.
Oh how sweet,Phillip Jo lives in the French Alps..,I suppose hes there with his white flag and he has the gawl to degrade our President..,Sorry bud, you dont count, you chose to live in france where there is kaos in the streets, yeh france is doing well with controlling terrorists in your own country.Just hug them and understand them and they will go away..,really they will.

Yes I do thank him for that. and not only him. but all Members of the US military. not only the present but past as well who know and understand that freedom is not the right of Americans alone.
Men and women who have put their lives on the line and even gave up their lives so that Americans, British, French, German, Japanese, Iraqi, and nearly everyone else can enjoy freedom.

I was there for the first election. The news media was predicting that nobody would vote and there was a 70% turn-out.
And this was despite death threats against anybody who voted.

Female literacy in Iraq was an estimated %23.4 at time of voting.
Commentators at the time revealed that the vast majority of women were just happy to have the option to vote and were ill informed as to the policies of the candidates they were choosing. Having a vote is one thing, being informed enough to use it wisely is far different.

Yes, Iraq women are free to vote for who they are told to vote for.
You have the best and most powerful army in the history of the world. You have dedicated soldiers that have sworn to serve their country and they do it well. I take my hat off to them.
But you have a leader that sucks big time. The US army and the US people deserve better.
And I hate to say it....so do the Muslims.

I'll thank him, and then I'll unthank Bush because I'm sure a few of those Iraqi women are dead now because of the mess we caused.

You see a picture that a military communications (i.e. propaganda) officer picks and you think everything is fine and dandy. You are a simpleton!
