When do you think the Democrats will come up with a winning plan for Iraq?

It doesn't matter who is in power, you're not going to fix the problems you caused in Iraq. Heck, you haven't won a war since WW2. What makes anyone think you'll win this one.
You spent $350 billion and over 3000 American soldiers' lives to get 1 man.

Please tell me you're not naive enough to believe that the democrats have a magic cure-all for situations like Iraq. Actually, anyone who voted for a democrat in the last election is definitely that naive.

They're politicians. Their biggest worry is maintaining their elected position. They have NO solution other than to pander to the public by opposing the President, and thusly look like they're "doing something about it". What's really happening is this: Our military is keeping our country safe. Too many Americans are very soft and complacent, and fearful...and they listened to any voice that promised change. But how long has it been since any politician keep a promise as large as stopping a war?

There's a sucker born every minute. And a whole lot of suckers elected a new wave of business-as-usual politicians into office. I can't wait until they find out that it's new people, but the same old crap.

They don't have any answers and they won't. They have always been part of the bodies of government that are working on the problem. It isn't like they have always been locked out of the decision making process. Everyone talks like now that they are in the majority all of a sudden they are going to solve everything, but if they had any VIABLE solutions they would have been listened to. If they do have an answer, shame on them for not putting them out there and working on getting them passed instead of just winning about how bad the Republicans are at handling it. They have been playing politics while our people are over there dying. Bush is doing a fine job on a nasty, out-of-hand situation that should have been taken care of many presidents ago. I admire him for taking on such a mess. If the media, liberals and bleeding hearts would stay out of it and let the ones that are fit to handle is do their job, things would be much better. What other wars have been fought and won by talking heads?

Bush seemed to be heavily relying on the Iraqi prime minister in assisting this effort. The Democratic senator only voiced sceptisism, not hate. I think the Democratic solution will have a heavy Iraqi political bias, as opposed to the military option the Bush administration has adopted.
