This has been bugging me for a long time, everytime I go to taco bell the pictures of the burrito's and tacos are EXTREMELY full to the brim with whatever particular ingredients are in the wrap, but the actual portions you get are no where NEAR the advertised picture...Im being serious here, am i the only one who thinks this is completely unacceptable lol....lawsuit??

Wanted to point out Im not really talking about the way the food looks, smashed, stale etc, Im mainly talking about the amount of, lets say meat lets say is clearly 50% to the top of the shell, and what you get is 15%, and as far as the comment about how that is before it is handled and packaged, this clearly would have no effect on the beef since it is cooked fresh right? correct me if im wrong

That clearly is false advertisement. And a lot of fast-food chains are quilty of that. They tend to cut corners and mass produce . That's why they have low overhead costs and are able to cut their prices Compared to other restaurants, they are much more reasonable, affordable and the service is fast. Even, Quizno's claim that Subways has less meat portions in their sandwiches.
You could try suing; but I don't think you'll win. The best solution, go to Costco, they also sell burritos. They are under wholesale prices ; are pretty good. They are tasty and come in variable meats.

Besides the hygienic conditions of most of the Taco Bell Restaurants are below par.

Taco Bell can argue that the picture shows the product before it has been handled and packaged. The contents will move during transport. And, the pictures make no note of measurements whether by volume or by weight.

All-in-all, it's not worth the trouble. That's why I go to Del Taco.

This is hardly lawsuit worthy and really is a staple of advertising in the restaruant industry. You ever notice how McDonald's burgers always looks so great on the commercial or even the menu and you order them and they are stale and smashed? It is the same thing. They are allowed to do a little cosmetic exaggeration of their product to make you want it.
