For example....I live in texas and just north in Oklahoma you can buy tax free cigarettes for considerably cheaper than in Texas..so would it be legal for me to buy cigarettes there and resale them here? And if not what would I need to do for it to be legal?

No it would not be legal. You need a license to distribute tobacco products and also you would need to pay the state taxes on your sales. If you did it with just a few packs here and there, it probably would not draw any attention, but if you are selling twenty cartons a day, you likely will get in trouble.

If you live near a military post get a soldier buddy to go buy them for you. I live in Texas where the taxes just went up another dollar and prices are $4.35, but since I am an Army vet and my wife is still in I go on post and buy a carton of Marlboro's for 25 bucks.

No, because each state has it's own tax stamp and you have no tobacco lisence.

If you want really cheap cigarettes go to Mexico. You can buy them for $12 a carton
Or order them online from the indian reservations.

It is definitely illegal, because, each pack of cigarettes sold should have a certain type of stamp making it legal to sell...But, dam I want to buy cheaper cigarettes too, I guess I 'm screwed to know that you can get your hands on cheaper cigarettes and I can't..dam...Good luck bud.

No, it's not legal, and I don't think there is a way to make it legal. To sell anything like that, you have to have a license. But even if you do have one, I don't think you can buy from a state and resell them in another state.
