Okay first of, i'm in an active peacekeeping force. Doing my service in Timor and Aceh. While i sense a bit sarcasm in your question, i would just like for you to know, that our jobs are actually very simple.

UN mandate, and super powers desire, my country doesn't really care for either.

As far as i'm concerned, my men and I, we serve as peace keepers, we keep both sides on their own sides, and we escort food convoys, to those that need them. We don't go round raping underage kids, neither do we request for more weapons and sell them, and no, we don't steal the food and sell them as well.

UN mandate keeps on changing as do the super powers desires, we don't keep with them. We just do our job, which is to keep the peace, protect the innocent. Thats all.

Super Powers desires? What are you talking about. You need to put them comic books down and start educating yourself about real life.

“We reject such behaviour, which seems to accompany UN forces on some of their missions,” he added, an apparent reference to similar accusations against peacekeepers in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
