People that dont realize this are naive , easily led sheep to the slaughter How are 21,000 troops gonna stop a bunch of car bombings ? They wont , other than to create more targets for the insurgents. After the next incident (cough, cough) , that will be blamed on Iran Bush will then go b4 the American people to justify his next conquest .

I will be going to small claims court. I need a lawyer that can help me prepare my case. What can he do for me?How much information does he need? What do I need to know to benefit from this meeting since they have a lot of cases, I do not want to waste there time. I am in Canada. Any advice will be appreciated.

I went to jail on 11-28-06 some freinds of mine got into trouble and got my pickup impounded on 12-4-06 i got out of jail on 12-18-06 i tried to got my pickup out and it was being held as evidence now my freinds got there charges droped on 12-27-06 the thing is there is a 700.00 storage fee on my pickup who should pay?

My husband is currently incarcerated in Texas. We are married but the problem is that he has been deported before. We have two sons together. Immigration has him held on illegal entry charges. it seems that american politicians would rather meddle in affairs that are not their own instead of dealing with real issues at home. if there was a way to erradicate war machines, there would be enough to help out the struggling programs and people in the country. otherwise, if the u.s. continues on its path, it will only deconstruct what it once was and stood for. the u.s of today is not nearly what it was when it was first created. the dream fails when it can no longer support and care for its own people.

what can we do to prevent the fall of a nation, a nation in which so many stand for, dream about, and attempt to achieve their goals?

America blames Bush for Iraq, but Congress had to vote OK for us to be able to go. Many democrats, including John Kerry voted for the war in Iraq, yet the Democrats try to push it all off on George W. and the Republicans. Atlanta Officer Defends Arrest of British Historian

In this cellphone photo, the Tufts University professor is surrounded by Atlanta officers after he was knocked down and arrested for jaywalking.


A British historian was handcuffed, thrown to the ground and taken to jail after he refused to use a crosswalk as directed by a police officer, who said the man ignored his orders and tried to walk away.

Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin asked the police chief to investigate the incident to make sure procedures were followed.

Felipe Fernandez-Armesto, 56, was arrested Jan. 4 while in town for the American Historical Association's convention. He has said he was assaulted while crossing the street by a man he did not realize was a police officer.

I have tried the recommended route of getting my fiance here through the K1 route and all I get from the State Department is a non-commital "duh" after 16 months. I have been approached by lawyers who promise but my opinion of most lawyers is that they are pre-politicians or liars before they become skilled liars. I have received advice from many which does absolutely nothing to aid either myself of my fiance. What I have not gotten is help from my elected representatives, the state department, or people here that seem to believe the worst of people. Admittedly, I am coming to much the same conclusion about the immigration policy in my country. Should I just suck it up and move there and finally get to be with my fiance in a sunnier, happier, and less troubled it seems to me, clime?
