Almost a 100 per cent false? Either they are false or they're not.

First you are going to have to PROVE the person is innocent. Once you can prove that, then you have to show there was an error in the trial. The DA withheld evidence, you have new evidence that wasn't available at the time of the trial, or his lawyer wasn't competent. Now if you can't show that, innocents in and of it self will not get you a new trial.

But I'd have lawyer or someone not close to case or the person you know look it over they might find something. Then work from there.

I suggest you contact both "The Innocence Project" and "Equal Justice Works" in your area. Both have national web pages that can help you. Just Google them. Also, you may wish to contact your state's Bar Association and ask them for a reference. I wish you the best.

I would get the attention of your local news stations, inside edition, current affair tv programs.
Did your friend take a polygraph? It still can work
if he is questioned about evidence submitted in court.
