Rueters reports that 'many people' have just been killed in a village in Somalia by a US gunship. Bet it wont cause much more than a ripple. Are we now immured to Americans killing anyone they want to?

My record has been sealed for a while.I'm was trying to get an apartment but I was denied beacause a rental screening service called the court house and a clerk form the court house revealed to the rental screening company that I have a background. Now I know since my record is sealed the clerk from the court house should not have said anything. So I want to know can I sue the court house and the rental screeningg company. When I called the rental screening company and I told her that my record is sealed she immediatelty got nervous and her tone changed.

I voted for Bush and I am an Evangelical Christian. Am I ignorant?

I know 4 languages and I have studied 1 classical language. I graduated with honors from college, I attend a professional school, I have worked in a foreign country.

I also believe in a command economy, all people are equal, regardless, babies and the elderly deserve to live, people getting paid based on need and not work, there is no such thing as an 'illegal' person, and that despite the fact I love my enemies and forgive them, I do not need to stand by as they kill my me or my family.

Although I disagree with Bush on a few things, I think overall he is a great president.

Or are they still just letting all the poor kids do their dirty work?

Seriously, if Bush is proposing an upsurge in troops, why shouldn't those who believe in this war, who think the Bush Administration has done a great job of conducting it, and who feel confident that we can defeat the insurgents if only we have enough troops volunteer to enlist themselves? If they really support the troops, why not volunteer so our troops won't be overextended, and let the hard-working men and women who have already been there too long come home?

If the IRA kidnapped two British Soldiers, instead of Hizbolla kidnapping two israeli soldiers and the British retaliated by bombing Dublin International Airport, all the major road, sea and rail links out of Ireland, the petrol stations and the energy plants, and then targets in residential areas, Britain would have been internationally condemned for a unilateral declaration of war and of gross breaches of International law. What makes Israel any different?

Her son, while tragically killed in Iraq, was doing what he believed to be his duty. She is a lonely housewife caught up in her little world of "Pity Me". I do not believe her son, a real american hero, would approve or agree with some of the crap she has been pulling in his name. Put her back in the kitchen and give her a broom and tell her to shut her rambling mouth.

a friend of mine got his vehicle impounded by the police and finally when they released the car the towing fees and storage fees that were charged to him were through the roof! unfortunetly by this time he had lost his job and consequently became discouraged and just never bothered pursuing the vehicle nor made any effort to get it out (stupid...i know). What I want to know is what happens to the loan against the car and what has more than likely happend to the car itself?

I have a friend who is having problems with her father. Everyone we've talked to says there is nothing we can do unless he is doing serious physical harm. However, we are 99% sure what he is doing isn't legal. Does anyone have any idea of exactly how much control he has?

Once upon a time young men were expected to fight and die pointlessly in muddy fields, on beaches or in bloody street battles and were taken out of factories and mines to do their duty.

Now with GPS, an ageing (mainly bigoted, intolerant and often angry) population and car ownership making wars for oil necessary why don't we send our elderly populations off to war?

Not that you'd know from our elderly but in the UK (for example) we have been multicultural for over 200 years but with every generation we hear the same bigoted bullshit that my parents were told from their parents and they were talking crap even then.

People are people, we are all worth the same however the rules of war are changing and now is the time to let our elderly car drivers (we are still fighting for oil aren't we?) into GPS fitted trucks crammed full of gas canisters and put on 15 minute timers.

Military Intelligence can programme the GPS and their grandchildren can have the medals.

When we built our house, we indicated to them that they were over on our property line. They never had it corrected; just simply took the stake down. Now that we are ready to put up our fence, we want to have it corrected. These neighbors are impossible to deal with so we need to know the legal process of how to proceed.
