Nope. The lowest discharge you can receive and still collect benefits is a General Discharge with no conditions. (A General Discharge under "less than honorable" conditions won't get you bennies.)

That would be a NO.
You must have a Honorable discharge. Some Medical discharges can work. But a Bad conduct sorry. Nope
VA Benefits Eligibility:
Eligibility for most VA benefits is based on discharge from active military service under other than dishonorable conditions. Active service means full-time service as a member of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or as a commissioned officer of the Public Health Service, the Environmental Services Administration or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

I dont believe so either however, the best place to go is DAV. You can look it up in the government pages of your phone book. They are there for the veteran. The VA is the place that will decide but the DAV will be the one who can sit with you and take a lot of time with you to answer all your questions. They are versed in all that is VA!
If you are sick and you think it is duty related you should seek DAV's help immediatly you are already a long time from your discharge. You really need to ensure you have your DD Form 214 as well. That is your discharge paperwork and that is the first thing they will need. You also will need all your active duty medical records! I hope you made copies when you left the service! Get in contact with them. They are usually quite friendly and are veterans themselves and love to see you win!

As an employee of the VA, no, you cannot. But, there are avenues of appeal to upgrade your discharge to less than honorable or so. Speak with a veterans rep to find out how.

Sorry, but no you don't.
If your offense was something that wasn't too bad sometimes you can petition the veterans board to upgrade your discharge to a general or general with OTH, but I don't think that will do anything to help you get any benefits.

Most of the time no, it depends on what the discharge was for. Call the the va in most cases they can tell you. Or go va.gov this website really helps.
