you have got to be kidding me? George Bush has proven he is unfit to run our own nation! when he came into office we had a strong economy. Now the deficit is nearly count it 9 trillion dollars. No never mind you will be old and grey by the time you count that high. Second of all back in 2000 he did not win the popular vote. the state of Florida which his own brother was governor at the time fixed the election and the rest is history. We were bombed in 2001. He poorly mishandled that. Then he let the bad guys fly out scott free all expense paid. Then we invade Afghanistan which in my view was an over reaction. How is a bombing of two cities justify an invasion of a soviiergn nation? then in 2003. He says Well Back in the day the Iraqi's when actually it was the Iranians gassed a bunch of people in Habalja and then also the Iraqi's killed a bunch of Kurdish people who happened to be working on behalf of the invading Iranian army. "Lets go invade Iraq" Bush has this grand Idea now that he is the ultimate lame duck president. Never mind that the United nations is fully against it. So The united states and England basically Thumb their noses at the United Nations and start this mess we are in today. I feel bad for any of you out there that have lost loved ones in either Afghanistan or Iraq. Neither war was necessary and both wars were just our President being his old paranoid self

Alright, put the power of several countries in Europe under the power of an American who probably knows nothing about European practices and issues over there. I'm sure the fact that it's Bush will convince Blair, though.

The EU is not run by any one country. If there is something Britain doesn't like then they simply veto it or refuse to take part in it (like the Euro). Everything that comes from Europe to britain was given the OK by the british EU representatives!

NO. the best thing that could happen to the Brussels dictatorship is for the whole thing to implode. However with the new Eastern states joining they will soon run out of money and the Western states will have to pull out to protect their economies.

France is just sad, I think. So badly wanting to be a world power-- and so badly wanting to be a wellfare state-- and just not enough francs in france to do both. So sad, the loss of their former betterness.
France is also too self centered to help the EU, and Germany is too scared of looking like they did 60 years ago.
We don't need to run them. We need to outrun the EU.
