My record has been sealed for a while.I'm was trying to get an apartment but I was denied beacause a rental screening service called the court house and a clerk form the court house revealed to the rental screening company that I have a background. Now I know since my record is sealed the clerk from the court house should not have said anything. So I want to know can I sue the court house and the rental screeningg company. When I called the rental screening company and I told her that my record is sealed she immediatelty got nervous and her tone changed.
