Little Ashley was born with severe brain damage and is unable to sit up, roll over, hold a toy, walk or talk. She can not maintain eye contact, is easily startled, but she’s alert and can smile.

Ashley’s parents feel they can better care for little Ashley if she remains at a manageable size. They often refer to Ashley has their “pillow child.” The parents feel if Ashley remains at her current weight of 65lbs instead of reaching her adult weight of 115lbs, it would be much easier for them to include her in typical family activities, car trips, feeding, bathing and simply caring for her. It will also reduce the chances of her developing bedsores, and other diseases that is usually associated with bed-ridden patients. Also she will not have to experience the discomfort of pending womanhood such as her menstrual or worry about developing breast cancer.

I stumbled across a website yesterday that appeared to be giving hair products away for free, with only the delivery charges to pay.
I thought it was too good to be true, but wondered if they were perhaps using up the end of a product line or something, so decided to order some to see what would would happen.
So I ordered loads, and made payment for the delivery charges using my debit card.
Today I have recieved e-mails cancelling my order as there was a mistake on the website, and refunding the delivery charges.
I just wondered if they are under any obligation to honour the purchase at the stated price, since payment was accepted. Does anyone know?

History has proven that backing down from a jihad is no guarantee that the enemy will stop fighting. Recent history shows us that ignoring small attacks (at least 8 during Klintin's 2 terms) is a great way to get hit with a big one(9-11, in case you have your head up your ****). Knowing all of this, DummyKraps still want to throw up the white flag and bring the troops home. If we did that, and the terrorists followed us back to wage war on our own turf (as they have in the Netherlands and in France, which have more of an appeasement attitude), would that be an indication of failed Liberal ideals, or is there some canned response to blame it on Bush?

Would current illegal immigrants have a problem with it?

Mexico's southern boarder would be a whole lot easier to defend.

When will our troops be brought out of Iraq? It bothers me that they are still there, well and truly in harms way and with no end in sight. How much longer before the politicians sort out an exit strategy - surely if it isn't soon we could accuse them of a gross dereliction of duty or for being 'not fit for purpose'!!!!! How do others feel (Americans as well as you've lost far more young men and women than we have, you must be getting uneasy too)

My dear friend married a woman that told him she was collecting her SSI for disability due to an aneurysm she had. However I knew her back then (her brother is my ex. husband) and I KNOW she had her disability long before that for being manic depressive. Does anyone know how you can find out why your spouse is collecting social security disability. She refuses to work, wont got o school, just travels around like she is something special because he is a VERY high level in the military and she thinks that makes her something special. ANY information would be helpful. Thanks.

If you have orders for a permanent change of duty station, and you have to turn copies of the orders into the management office of an apt complex to break a lease, what does management do with those orders? Are they just kept in a file? Or do they have to turn them in to someone else?

My husband and i got married when i was 21 and he was 23.He was an Australian here in the U.S.A as a pro-surfer i think he may have some sort of duel citzenship.Anyway i had just graduated from college and fell head over feet for but we seperated after a year.I shortly after found out i was pregnant with his son so i went and contacted him to inform him.He attended his sons birth and stuck around after for a little bit but we could not agree on anything so we split up.He moved back to Australia and i traveled to England for work and lived there for 6 months.I have traveled all over Europe for work with my son who is almost 7 now.His dad all of a sudden wrote to me stating that he wants visitation rights or co-custody of our son?He even claim he could have me arrested when i come back to the U.S for kidnapping?

Okay, here's my situation: I am currently a senior in high school and in the DEP for the Navy, scheduled to leave for Boot Camp in late July. Immediately after completion of Boot Camp, I am scheduled for, believe it or not, BUD/S. Recently, I've realized that maybe I don't like the water as much as I'd have to to do that, and I don't really have the desire anymore. I was thinking of going to the Army instead. I was thinking Airborne or Rangers or something. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Just like the Louisiana Purchase, why can't the US buy an island, like one of the Azores or an island off of Saudi Arabia or India to use as a military base.It would be a lot closer to the middle east than Diego Garcia and we wouldn't have to beg countries to let us use their land.If the price was right,it would be worth it.
