Nobody should be given a knighthood, they are anachronistic in the 21st century and make us look quaint and class ridden to the rest of the world. Time-servers like Blair and other civil servants should get them least of all. He has been very well paid, with endless perks, like free housing and transport, not to mention the 120 grand pension per annum. Then there's the memoirs book deal, the lecture tour. A knighthood as well ? Oh, please.
