Has Iraq not already adopted a constitution and didn't our fearless leader not say we would pull out when that happened?? Instead I hear of an insurgence of new American troops to the region??

'cause I've been seeing needs for permits for everything, corrupt politicians in the news, taxation w/o representation
(for those 16-18)
higher taxes, home demolishment for economic advancing (for instance a home taken down for a skyscraper)
and other restrictions popping up.

I had a girlfriend in Michigan 18 years ago. I joined the ARMY 18 years ago & left Michigan. I live in North Carolina now. I found out that my girlfriend from Michigan was pregnant with my child 4 years ago (child was 14 at the time). I began paying child support directly from my check. Baby's Mom says there was a warrant taken out for my arrest 4 years ago for non-payment of child support. I'm wondering how I can find out if I was convicted of a misdeamenor or a felony in Michigan.

It seems as the gap between the have's and have nots grows wider and wider, eventually the poor will revolt. Historically, that has always been the case. In the case of France or Russia, royalty was executed and in the case of Germany, men like Hitler rose to power during such terrible times. Is corporate greed slowly pushing America in this direction?

It always seems stuff like gay marriage or flag burning or terry schiavo or some other type of issue is always dominating the republicans and democrats verbal sparring on the news. Why do they always want to talk about things like this instead of stuff that affects peoples daily lives, like economy, war, immigration, etc.?
Why does the media always push such distractions as actual news?

Some Illegal Immigrants Are Re-Arrested 6 Times

By LARA JAKES JORDAN
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Illegal immigrants who were caught but released in the United States may have been re-arrested as many as six times, Justice Department data released Monday indicates.

The findings by Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine are based on a sampling of 100 illegal immigrants arrested by local and state authorities in 2004, the latest complete data available. They show that 73 of the 100 immigrants were arrested, collectively, 429 times - ranging from traffic tickets to weapons and drug charges.

He is trying to foist the "stay the course" plan of failure on the American people once again. We have tried the "surge of troops" twice in the last year and each attempt failed worse than the last.

Nobody is calling for cut and run but the Iraqi people are the only ones who can make this succeed, it is past the time when the US military can accomplish anything and the American people want the Iraqis to decide for themselves, we can no longer do everything for them or they will never stand up for themselves.
We should have forced them to stand up for themselves a year and a half ago.

I heard that Joe Biden announced his canidacy for US President. I've been pretty impressed with the guy and kinda' like him. Has enough time passed since his plagiarism scandal when he was in college? He's more experienced than Obama, and less polarizing than Hillary.

Your thoughts?

Hello. My neighbor and I used to be friends. For a time she gave me a key to her place. I later left it at her place and no longer have it. She and I had an exchange of notes where she asked me to return a book to her. A few days later I left the book in front of her door as she asked.

Now, a couple of weeks later I have a cop knocking on my door. He said that she said that she found the book inside of her apartment - implying that I somehow got in (via a key) and put the book inside. He said that I could possibly be arrested for breaking and entering. Apparently there might be other evidence. It is impossible for there to be physical evidence of me entering (since I did not). Though they may construct means (they assume I copied the key) and motive - since I guess they could assume that I wanted to be mean and cause her distress...
So does she have a case? What is needed to prove breaking and entering? Thank you in advance for answers/suggestions you may have.
