You know, this may be true but I still think you are a little butt wipe for gloating over it! You volunteer for 4 years and you don't know what will happen in that time. I was in from 1989 to 1993 and was over there for the first war. Complain about the Prez all you want. It is your right. I exercise that right myself quite a bit!! It is a pity that an immature child like you must be has not developed the skill to put himself in another man's shoes. Killing another human being is a horrible thing and something you will not ever forget, try as you might. Few if any soldiers are "Rambos" and even fewer want to be. It is a job and not a particularly fun one not that selfish bast*rds like you really care. So go pop some pimples and jerk off to porn in front of your computer little boy and leave the world's affairs to us men and women who care enough about to try and solve the problems it has!!

Since you haven't seen with your own eyes what's been going on over there, your opinion is as laughable as it is ignorant and misinformed.
Thee has not been a skirmish or firefight that American forces have lost for quite some time. Ambush hit-and-runs are the only tactic (other than booby traps) that the insurgent forces have at their disposal, and those are (in the larger picture) simply annoyances. Man for man, we are winning, but the overall cost is starting to get too high. I doubt we would have such a tenacious administration if the potential rewards weren't so great. But to say that we are 'getting our kicked' is ignorant.

Happy Trolling!

The president made a huge mistake. We all know it. But no soldier deserves to die.Vent towards your Commander in Chief. The troops merely do as they are ordered.
But I must also add that this questioner has a right to his/her own opinion,
I've seen worse.
Enough said.

End it.

(and a correction Iraqi war: 3,013 todate)

Butt kicked is a little strong...but not as easy as the administration led us to believe. Some people believe everything Bush says and others are totally fed up. Let's see how this new Congress feels about it...and don't forget we have a new election coming up in 2008. Do you plan to vote? If not, you have nothing to say about it.

I am with Sam - BYE!
You do not like the US then we will be happy to see you go or just ignore you.
More than 50% of Americans voted for President Bush both times, so more than half can not dislike him. Everyone including the president hates war of any kind.

Are we getting our butts kicked? I dont think so. WE have eliminated most of the high ranking government that has been in power for 3 decades. We have established somewhat of a new government. We have the people celebrating over there for the first time in their lives. Where are we getting our butts kicked ?

Now, that America has given the terrorist the oppurtunity to fight back, the bad guys are NOT GONNA give up their fight. They are gonna fight like there is no tommorrow.

America started a fire that gonna take a shiitload of effort to put out. But why?

I still don't get it. Why did Bush order a ground invasion? Didn't he know the fearsome wrath of the Arabs and Persians? Didn't he take history courses at Yale? Hell, the Arabs defeated the Soviet's (another superpower).

ALSO, with all those ships, submarines, and aircraft carriers with deadly planes that could launch devastatiing missiles, WHY IN THE NAME OF HELL DID BUSH ORDER A GROUND INVASION???????

SADDAM WOULD HAVE RETREATED TO HIS SPIDEY HOLE AT THE SIGN OF THE FIRST F/A-18.

THEN, I am sure the Iraqi people would have taken over.

I would like to see you say that to the face of one of our fine young men and women in uniform. You don't have a clue. They defend your right to even be able to post your opinion.

It's easy to hide behind your anonymous little shadow and say things you probably wouldn't dare utter in the presence of our military.

They are doing what they were ordered to do, you can't blame them nor should you celebrate in their deaths. I'm sure your blind to the good things they have done in Iraq.

Please learn how to spell before you post. It shows your ignorance exceeds your ignorance in politics and world affairs.

It is the insurgents we are fighting the Iraqi people are also being killed by the insurgents. Get your facts straight.

Laffer is not a word.

Our foothold in the motherland of terrorism has been successful In Terms of casualties:

Civil War 562,000
World War 2 408,000
World War 1 58,000
Vietnam 58,000
Korean 54,000
Revolutionary 25,000
Mexican 13,000
Iraq War ........................2,890

If you were to prorate the death rate to the same as WWII we can stay in Iraq for 400 years until we reach the same total. Point is, radical Islam is trying to exterminate the west, they can't do it when they are up to their asses in Marines and Army dog faces - no disrespect to my fellow brothers in arms. Bottom line, don't attack the US anymore unless you want an armored division in your dirt hut forever.

I agree with you that we're not accomplishing anything over there, but little else. There's no reason for you to ask a gloating question like this- it makes you seem like a hateful worm.

Also I agree that the Pres. is a chicken hawk, and isn't the right guy. But to insult the American people? and to say we couldn't 'win' if we wanted to? This isn't supposed to be a war of conquest. If it was, Iraq would be a plain of saturation bombed glass.......as it is, who knows what we're doing over there.
