I heard that Joe Biden announced his canidacy for US President. I've been pretty impressed with the guy and kinda' like him. Has enough time passed since his plagiarism scandal when he was in college? He's more experienced than Obama, and less polarizing than Hillary.
Your thoughts?

I hope that this doesn't reflect the national thinking- or Biden's campaign is going to be wasting a lot of $$.

Joe Biden is probably the best-qualified of all the possible candidates - Democrat or Republican. He has an outstanding record in the Senate and will gain increased exposure now that the Democrats are in power. His problem? He's from Delaware, a small state with only a couple of electoral votes and we all know that those electoral votes are what count - not the number of votes a candidate receives. If he were to get the nomination - he would have to pick a running mate from a large state with a large number of votes. Possibles: Hillary Clinton and Dick Durbin from Illinois. The problem - those are already Democratic states. I hope he does well in the primaries and could certainly support him with no reservations.

Honestly, I'd have to read more about him. Still who would have thought Clinton could do it back in say 1990-1991? Sometimes the race is more a crapshoot than you expect. It's almost always about who charms the big wallet muckey mucks, don't you agree? P.S. Didn't Biden run in 1988? I was in high school then and not paying a huge amount of attention to anything other than this girl's expanding bustline!! All else is sort of in a haze from that time!!!:)

Joe Biden has the possibility he replaced into making plans on. he's laying in wait till the Democrats come to thier senses and understand Hillary and Obama at the instant are not sensible applicants. regrettably for him the Democrats do not look coming to thier senses.

not really.... I think it's hard for a legislator to become president. He has not exactly been in the spot light either. He's likely got too much baggage in his voting history-- repubs will eat him alive.
Look the past few--
Bush - gov (south)
Clinton - gov (south)
Reagan - gov (cali)
Carter - gov (south)
Ford - rep - but wan't elected
Nixon - VP- rep before that I think
