That book, after all, is a major part of his presidential legacy. Historically speaking.

Just a couple hundred years ago, no society could have afforded so many people who wouldn't work building a product.

I saw a recent "class" photo of the current U.S. Supreme Court Justices. Why doesn't John Roberts have the gold stripes on the sleeves of his robe as former Chief Justice Rehnquist did?

For the most part i'm republican. My only liberal thought is that gays should be allowed to marry.

I think the only differences between republicans and democrats are perception and how each moral varies in how important it is.

1) Abortion
~Most democrats will tell you that the important one here is the woman who may not be prepared for a child (to keep or just carry for the 9 months). And that it's not up to the gov't
~Most republicans perceive the innocent child that doesn't get a chance to live the important one. And we most definitely think its a gov't issue bc your killing your child (yes i know i sound bias but i already told you im a republican)

2)Welfare
~Dems perceive it as a way to help people that can't help themselves or just can't make it by. In this case charity is more important
~Reps perceive that if a person is more then 'well off' its because they or someone in their family worked for it and they shouldn't have to give it away to people who haven't worked for it...

Don't say Iraq, because that is actually bad for us in the long run. Saddam was an ********, but he did not allow his country to harbor terrorism. He was an authoritarian, and terrorism was a threat to his power. Bush is the President of the United states, not the world, so what has he done for our country? I am asking this seriously and non-bipartisan because I am interested in what people think he has done for us.
p.s. I completely agree with invading afghanistan, the taliban DID harbor terrorists and needed to be stopped, but they are taking over agin because we are too focused on Iraq.

Why is that when the Pres. did the phone tapping thing everybody flipped out. But when hackers steal your personal info, or private investigators fraudulantly obtain your your phone records, credit card info, bank info, video tape you, etc, etc, no one says a word? Would it be fair to say then that the latter poses a bigger threat to you than the President?

Gingrich -- the architect of the 1994 Republican Revolution and "Contract with America" has largely written off President Bush, says Rove should be dismissed, and has even speculated that the next occupant will be Hillary Rodham Clinton.

We might be trying to get a marriage visa for me to go to the USA and see if we get along together; we'd have just three months to get married, if by that time we're ready to do so, we will, if not I'll come back to my country.

The question is: Would my boyfriend have troubles with his government if we do not actually get married? Like, if he wanted to apply for a marriage visa in the future, would he have problems? Any other issues?

Thank you.

My buddy and i are curious as to what all the Ohio State Highway Patrol does during the day.
As far as i know, they look for traffic violations and clean up accidents.

Also, what kind of different jobs are their within the State Patrol?
Are their undercover officers?
Drug specialists?
that sort of thing?

and we're looking at their web site right now and it's pretty vague.

SO if anybody can answer any of the questions...thanks a lot

I stayed at a brand name motel that had an attached bar. I got drunk in the bar and then an employee of the motel slipped me a drug, took me to my room and raped me. Could I sue the motel or the company it's franchised through? By the way, I'm a grandfather, not a chick.
