I served my country because I am proud of my country. I didnt quit when george senior stopped the war the first time...I didnt quit when 3 close friends died when an american ship was attacked during the clinton admin.....I hear what you have to say and even though it pains me how unamerican many americans have become...I am proud...I served....you have your freedom....and george w has reminded the world that we are the most powerful nation in the world and to leave our homeland alone. disagree if you must...that is one of your freedoms.

i am a FATHER w/phyiscal custody of my daughter for past 3 years when i took custody i stated in court no child support but that mom should pay half of all school things, now my fincial situtaion has changed drasticlly over 3 year period so i have asked dhs.child support recovery of IOWA to modify my case and for the mom to pay child support (she has nevr paid half of any school things)oh yeah the courts never put in papers where and when mom was to do her share of half school things, so no proof of this that she has helped..now my daughter is being penalized for never having any support to help pay her needs, i have seen her ask grandma for money for hygiene things even.. I feel all this run around with the state of IOWA is because i'm a man and not a woman, plus i make less than the mother does and she has no other kids to support or any obligations...how can this father get any help with receiving child support..WHY AM I BEING REFUSED...I CANT EVEN GET A CONFIDENTAL INTERVIEW. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ANSWERING.
I believe it is the ineffectual and limp wristed "government" that we have (UK) who are only concerned with appeasing the criminal classes and ensuring that lawers and barristers get rich from the protracted and complicated legal system that is in place here.
Police are not the problem as they can only work with the legislation given to them by government. DISCUSS.

I will concede that there are a small minority of coppers who are a disgrace to the uniform and they should be tossed out of the job immediately, although this is not the topic.

...region of Sudan into Chad has captured growing attention in the U.S. due to belated media coverage and aggressive advertising by concerned groups, but the prospects in Washington dealing with the problem effectively seem slim. Darfur, is only one of a pox of conflicts that, together with HIV/AIDS, are causing the death of more and more people in parts of Africa, thus robbing it of the potential of mineral, oil, and gas deposits. Where it not for Iraq, WA. might have acted to stop what the Bush administration admits is a genocide in Darfur, or taken steps to prevent the take over of Somalia by an al Quaeda affiliated group. Unfortunately, even supporting small presence of U.S. Special Forces to lead a U.N. approved coalition peacekeeping force is beyond the the capability of the badly stretched U.S. military.

Ok, so I was (unfortunately) convicted of something - nothing big, but whatever. So I have been waiting and waiting to receive a court date and have yet to be contacted by ANYONE. Not even my lawyer. I've never been in trouble before. Should I be worried? It been 3 months. Serious answers only, please.

Those who want to oust the illegal Mexican immigrants from American soil, say "They're breaking the law. They're hurting the economy. They're using resources they aren't entitled to use!"

But very often I see comments like, "We should shoot them on sight!" or "They're filthy criminals" or "They live twenty to an apartment and they all stink!"

So, to what extent is a hunger for justice driving this, and to what extent is racism driving this?

Someone I know was in a car accident with illegal aliens. It was a hit and run accident. The Mexican illegal aliens caused the crash and they had guns. The Mexicans had earlier stole the car and then ran away after the crash. The local police found the area the aliens were hiding and the police refused to go near them after they were cornered. The police knew they were armed and dangerous. The police left the scene of the crime to avoid being killed.

Illegal aliens are not afraid of our justice system. They run back across the border anytime they commit a serious crime.

PORTLAND, Ore. - The city of Portland has agreed to
pay $145,000 to an elderly blind woman after police
pepper-sprayed and shocked her with a stun gun.

The altercation began as an attempt to remove shrubs
and appliances from 71-year-old Eunice Crowder's yard,
and ended with police citing her for harassment and
disobeying an order.

"This case goes to show that police misconduct and
excessive force can happen to anybody outside the
mainstream," said Ernest Warren Jr., Crowder's lawyer.
"It does not have to be an African American; it can be
someone who is elderly and white."

The June 9, 2003, incident began when Ed Marihart, a
city employee, showed up at Crowder's home. He served
her with an administrative search warrant to remove an
accumulation of trash and debris.

According to Crowder and her lawyer, the woman told
him she was blind and hard of hearing, and asked him
to read the entire warrant to her, but he refused.

I moved in with two boys and they became very violent towards each other, litterally beating each other up. They even went to hit me a couple of times. I moved all my stuff out, but left behind my tv and computer desk. Then they changed the locks so I couldn't get the rest of my things. We had a "roommate agreement" but it wasn't notorized. And I've already paid my rent up until the end of January. Even though I'm not on the actual lease, they can't do that since I've already paid my rent. Right? They refuse to give me my things back. One roommates dad is a sherriff and his mom is a lawyer. So I'm pretty much screwed, huh?

I live in Ohio by the way.

Is that true and what are the consequences? Can the person go to jail, or is it a civil suit? I am from another country so can you tell me if i would go about charging the person from my country or do i have to contact someone in the US? Thank you for your help.
