Okay, I think I might get your question. You want to know why everyone has to have everything exactly they way they want it to be.
An extremist like this could be typed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or they might be Anal Retentive.
All people suffer some problems in the area. For instance, a person that has a hard day at work because customers or bosses were jerks, might come home and assert their authority there to prove power is in their hands.

People prefer to be controlled. That way, they don't have to make many decisions. When people are controlled, they become dependent on the controller. For example, the government gives handouts to the people. The people love it, and they vote for whichever party or candidate gives them the most handouts, or promises the most. In a way, they become children again. They want the government to control them......and provide for them.

Freedom gives a great lot of responsibility and it demands a lot of education and a strong democratic tradition for the society to use their freedom in an acceptable way for all its members.
Besides, the main motivator in capitalist society is egoism of the individuals. It takes rules and legislation to restrain individuals from harming others while they persue their own egoistical aims...
