Probably. Likely the only thing that could stop the government from falling is if they can put together an environmental plan that is acceptable to the other parties, in particular the NDP. I have my doubts that Harper (and Layton too) will be willing to compromise enough, so there will probably be an election call following the tabling of the budget in February. The most likely scenario is an election in late March or April.

Absolutely - like we need to waste more tax dollars! Expect the Conservative budget to be brought down next month to have 'oodles of stuff supporting the environment, research and development of alternate fuel sources, as well as an income tax decrease for individuals and corporations. They need to fix the "income trust" fiasco, so will attempt to bribe folks with these initiatives.

I bet the income tax credits won't come into place until after the election....typical carrot and donkey tricks.

I don't know but I wish we could move ours up a year and have ours in 2007.
