I received a traffic ticket in Calfornia for making an illegal turn. The citation indicates I have a Virginia driver's license and registration. In fact my license and registration are both in Pennsylvania. The address on the ticket is a local PO Box in California. What risk do I have if I don't pay? Can this ticket really be tied to me in that there is no record of me in Virginia? (Other than that was/is the address on my Pennsylvaniadriver's license) I used to be active duty military hence the confusion.

I'm sending a package to an american friend. the package contains a few explicit items(nothing illegal) but they will be packed as a private package. My question is what Items are likely to get searched or withheld if the package is scanned.
what categories of items are withheld for search during entry in the us. Any help would be much appreciated specially from any US customs people. I'd like to be sure before I send out my package

I recently got fired from a "big box" retail store. I saw a guy in the restroom drinking beer that he took off the shelf. I did NOT see the guy take the beer off the shelf, therefore, i am not sure if it was even his beer or the stores beer. At this point. So i followed the guy out of the store and stopped him and said "Hey i have a question for you! Stop!" at which point he turned around and said "Yeah I stole the beer, i stole it and drank it all here. i have more." And he handed me 2 more cans of beer. That's all i said. I didnt ask anything else, he confessed to stealing. So I brought him back into the store, called the cops, and sent him on his way. I was fired because I did not see the man take the beer off the shelf. I "violated" a loss prevention policy. Do I have lawsuit capabilities since my intentions were to protect the company, it's assets, associates, and customers???

Your kind have had the same core of leaders in the White House 14 out of the last 22 years. You've had the Congress for the last 12 years. The most prosperous our Nation has been during those years since the era of The New Deal were under the Clinton Administration from his specific policies and actions. Our peace and prosperity during that time could have developed into something extraordinary.

Bush takes over through questionable election, cleans out our treasury, continues the trickle-down economic program to the extreme, watches as his longtime partyhacks create a scheme to overthrow Iraq for oil, enables our enemies to attack us through either ignorance or purposeful intent (who cares which), and then whammo--he lies our country into a war that he wants us to believe we'll win through our prowess, when the truth is our absolute domination of the region and the acquisition of it's oil resources for his constituents is his ONLY concern.

So what's my point?

My brother was recently assaulted by a chain store mechanic in the stores 'garage'. My brother had brought a tire in to be repaired and was told there would be a 3 hour wait. Since he was traveling home for Christmas, he did not want to wait the 3 hours and decided to go to a tire store down the road. My brother turned to leave, exiting the the way he was led in by another store
employee. At this time the manager became angry and yelled at my brother 'not to walk thru his shop'. My brother continued to walk towards the door. Please mind that this is the way he came in and the side where his car was parked, AND it's raining.He is standing less than 5 ft from the exit gate. As he tries to leave, the manager pulls back on the gate and swings it with force. The gate swung all the way thru and hit my brother hard enough to leave a welt and a bruise. The videotape has been viewed by the higher ups and now they are asking my brother what he wants for compensation. Comments? Suggestions?

selves from what happened ?,saying they tryed to convince the iraqi government to delay the execution, when they could have stopped it at any time .

i think the man was scum just like any other person, yet what surprisied me is that the guy had quite alot of courage and dignity just before the execution i thought he'd break down or something . so i wonder were the sheites told to taunt him to get an out burst ?. the video footage was odviously done on purpose yet made out to be some lone person, this was all suposed to flare up violence on the streets of Iraq , the islamics seem to have seen through it . as again strange .

Then why are some still stuck on the belief that we are somehow 'creating' more terrorists by fighting them ??

I really wish and HOPE for this insane argument to 'go away'.. . .. . ..it only serves to 'Confuse' the impressionable and uninformed !!!
