The person who killed him is guilty, not a country. If he was in the military, he signed up to fight for his country and knew the risks. Not that it doesn't hurt, but be proud he was upholding his duty.

Your government is to blame for following a liar! If I were British I would not have followed Bush into war, but it was also your country that was giving false and forged information to the US!
I am sorry for your brother, I am sorry for the 25,000 dead or wounded! We should have never attacked Iraq and I guess it is evident we are losing there as well!
The US lost 115 KIA in Iraq in December!
I see that Prime Minister Maliki of Iraq said in an interview in the New York Times today that he wished he could quit before the elections! He isn't seeking a second term! Even Iraqi's see the handwriting!
I don't know who your brother was, but there has been only 1 American killed in Iraq this month, and no British! The last British soldier killed was a UK Sergeant on December 28 and he was the only British person killed during the month of December!

Oh my God!!! Some of you people are so mean! A person loses an immediate member of their family and you tell them to suck it up, get over it, or pull his head out of his A**?! Typical f**ckin' Americans right there!!! Way to live up to the stereotype the rest of the world has of you! And Americans wonder why there isn't a place on this planet that an American can go and actually admit that they are American without being injured, ignored, treated badly or ripped off?!
I am really sad to hear that you have to cope with something like this, no one should ever have to lose someone they love in a violent way. I can understand why you feel so angry! This War; well any War for that matter, is a waste of life, time and money. Unfortunately there really isn't any one person or group to blame. It's Bush's fault for being so greedy that he had to start a War just because he wanted more overseas oil deals and more money, its PM Blair's fault for supporting Bush's complete stupidity, and it's your Brother's fault too, unfortunately, because he volunteered to join the Army.
I hope that you and your family will get through this ok and definitly remember that what your brother did took alot of guts, especially when going over there right now pretty much means you won't be coming back alive. He probably did know alot of what he was getting himself into and he still wanted to try and help; theres not many people, myself included, that can say they would knowingly give up their lives like that.

This is why wars will never end. It's not the man who pulled the trigger on the gun that killed his brother. Nor the commanding officer that sent him into that area. Nor is it Blairs fault for assisting america in this war. nor is it George Bush, and congress and the Joint Chiefs for deciding that this was the best cource of action. Nor is it those bastards who flew planes into a building killing over 3000 innocent people in cold blood. Nope....none of those people.
It's Americans in general. We are the cause of all the grief and suffering in this world. Never mind the billions of dollars poured out from our country to help defend those who can't defend themselves, dollars to provide flood relief to a coutry whose people yell and scream at us and wear "Long Live Osama" tshirts when we give them food.
I am not going to say that America is without mistakes but, For gods sake. Put the blame on the people making the decisions if you are going to blame somebody.
Or maybe......Mourn your brother. While he may have died, he died maybe doing something that he believed in. He joind the military for a reason. I'm not going to pretend like I know what it was but maybe he was fighting so that you and you family could live a better life without having to fear that a plane might crash into a place where you work.

Sorry for your loss.
I wonder wonder wonder how many American brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers, blamed the Italians and French and Russians and Philipinos, when the American soldiers died while lending assistance to their countries when Hitler was mashing them like rotten grapes? I really don't think they blamed the leaders of those countries, I think they blamed Hitler and Japan. You should be blaming the radical Islamists and the United Nations. It was for the United Nations lack of leadership and will to force Hussein to surrender the WMD's, that the UN and other leading intelligence officials swore that he had. It plain and simple is not Bush's fault for our troops being there. The blame lay with the world community, the UN, leadership of the US allies and the US Congress(all of them) and the administrations of the last two presidents, along with Hussein, who got our troops into the area when he invaded Kuwait. This did not start overnight and it will not end overnight.
Again, sorry for your loss.

I'll have to take the blame, it was all my idea to have your brother join the UK forces, forced him to go to Iraq, forced him to go wherever he was when he died and forced everyone over there to not save his 'butt' for him. Hey, why didn't you save his butt? He died for 'freedom' not the US. He died because he was trained to follow orders. He died because he was in the wrong place at the right time. He died because it was his turn. The Lord only takes those who cannot pass the next test. He's in a much better place, knows the WHOLE truth about everything, ever. Would you rather he was injured and a vegetable for years. He did what he had to do and now you have to do what you have to do to get through it. Peace be unto you.

I am sorry for your loss, there is nothing can be said which can lighten your heart. Remember we all have to go, worthy are those people who die doing a good job. Yor bro was a brave man to be in that sickened country trying to honour his leaders call. Though its a long debate for whos war is this, which perhaps will never end. That a 70's CIA supported baath party leader suddenly becomes enemy number one who always took care of american cause. poor man or a **** hole , but you are right they causing too many ppl to be struck with greif. God help US and Give them some brains and heart too.

as a soldier who is now also serving in Iraq (US Army), even I can't know your pain, I have lost comrades but that does not compare to a brother. even though the mission in Iraq is not as clear as we have hoped, there are genuine humans here that needed your brothers help, wether they be muslims or christians, they want nothing of the insurgency, they just want to raise thier family in peace, I know your brother saw this, just know he was fighting for that decency, fighting for those that can't fight for themselves, He was strong and stood up when others turned away. I know your hatred for this war, I feel it myself. As a soldier my wish was to defend America, do I feel I am doing that here in Iraq? No. I don't. Do I feel the US Army is being misused in Iraq and we are the puppets for a misguided government. Yes. Do I continue to serve in Iraq, yes, because beyond the corrupt politics, the underhanded fat contracts, and smell of rancid corruption that you can smell from the white house to bagdad there is still good that can be done here in Iraq, we can change the lives of millions of Iraqis for the good. No doubt its a bleak situation and no civilian will ever understand what your brother went through but know his fight was not entirely in vain.

Lame, Too bad you are too cowardly to enlist in the armed forces and place your sad sack *** on the line for a cause larger than yourself. Go play video games and leave us adults alone to discuss grown up things.

THe Iraqis desire the U. S. protection stress out b/c the insurgents have them scared to loss of existence that in the event that they facet with the u . s . a ., they are going to be butchered on sight. This contains men, females and young ones. The insurgents are making use of the Iraqis as pawn to interrupt the desire of the u . s . a .. tell me, why do not abused toddlers tell on their abusers? because of the fact they stay in concern.
