Yes. I once had an African-American female shout me down in a social work course, because while asking the professor a question, I used the old phrase, "It isn't so black and white..."

I had a really bad sociology teacher. Everyday he would be going off on why Cuba is such a better country than ours and everyday I would ask "Then why are so many Cubans risking their lives to get in this country?" He would say there aren't that many trying to get in. Just horrible. I think the rest of the class hated me because I wouldn't stop arguing with him. I still got an A, so he was fair. I think he just liked that I wasn't sleeping like everyone else.

Yes, my Sociology class. The book had many general assumptions and taught it as fact. On the last day of class I went in with my anti-che shirt on since I know she was a socialist just to piss her off. I passed the class but it was difficult regurgitating all the propaganda that was on the tests.

No. I didn't have enough sense until I was in my early 30s. So, maybe it did happen, but I didn't know any better in college.

Yes I had a Liberal Professor who would lower your grade if you submitted something that contradicted his Liberal Garbage. We formed a committee and were successful in getting him replaced!!
