I just want to know if people with disabilities are allowed to join the military. I know they can't fight in wars or anything, but don't they have desk jobs that they can do?

Dick Cheney hailed President Gerald Ford for pardoning Richard Nixon during funaral cerimonies. Cheney said: "Gerald Ford was almost alone in understanding that there can be no healing without pardon."

The American clearly felt betrayed when Ford pardoned Nixon and showed it by overwhelming support for his Presidential opponent in the next elections.

Purhaps Cheney is trying to make a case for why the next President of the United States should pardon him and Bush when they are braught up on charges of violating the civil rights of the American People.

Should all men and women in the U.S be required to serve one-two years in the military after they graduate high school? The purpose of this programs (similar to Israel's) would be not only to create a large reserve fighting force, but to instill discpline, honor, and moral guidance to todays youth that severly lacks the above.

On Thursday, the lady at our post office said government offices might be closed, but no "official" notification yet on whether or not Bush would declare a day of mourning.

an example would be the death penalty. Like the controversy over lethal injection. The world has changed from so many death penalties because it isn't "fair" or "it violates civil liberties and rights". why should they have any rights if they are just taking the rights away from the people they murdered? Maybe I just don't know enough about the situation but if anyone has any info and would like to enlighten me please do because I am struggling to understand this concept. Thank you for your answers!!! :)

I'm 22 years old, when I was 1 1/2 years, my dad killed my mom. Now, he's trying to be a part of me and my sister's lives. I'm not intrested, but my sister seems to be falling for his lies, and his claim that it was an accident. I'm worried that he couldd be dangerous. He is going to be released from prison in February. How can I get court records and things in Texas to show my sister what really happened? Thanks for any help!!

What would this threat fall under?
A group of people( not a company) threaten to have an elderly person arrested for borrowing money that was never borrowed. I know myself There's nothing that can be done to the elderly lady for this But it is scareing her to no end. My question is are they breaking any laws doing this? She lives in West Virgina.
Also these people are the family of her Ex-boyfriend that she no longer wishes to talk to.LOL also the amount of the money is 30 dollars its nothing but she's affraid this will land her in jail. Are they breaking the law in anyway?

My husband is a friend, has allowed me the opportunity to home-school my daughter and basically allowed me to "slack." As of late, he has decided to "limit" me on my spending, while he controls all of our finances. I am frustrated, am new to my area and have submitted my resume to several places with no avail. How can I make him respect my needs? My daughter is in school now, and I am more than willing to go back to work to contribute to our household. The problem, really, is that I would rather swing it as a single than deal with a control issue. So now what?

Given it's not going to waste money, and funds to make more prisons and house more prisoners is at its end point?
I understand that it is morally wrong, can't deny that, but then what do you suggest be the solution, because that's a lot of wasted money catering to evil people (not every single prisoner in there was an innocent wrongly accused...so that's a small factor out of the majority that HAVE done something seriously wrong.). Not to mention i've heard some areas that there's overcrowding, so i'm curious to see what your answer would be if not to judge them according to their wrongs and be rid of people who have nothing else but to help the world suffer.
