Personally I don't think he will get anything but a slap on the wrist and told "don't do that again". It seems more a cover the ethics boards asses than getting any thing done.

The bar association, which filed the ethics charges Thursday, will not schedule Nifong's trial-like hearing for at least three months, Lunsford said Friday.
The bar cited nearly 50 remarks Nifong made to reporters and said many amounted to "improper commentary about the character, credibility and reputation of the accused."

I admit, maybe my expectations are too high. But when I come to this forum I am amazed by the sheer volume of postings containing nothing but slander, bias, and infantile rhetoric.

Perhaps it is immaturity and ignorance that drives people to create scapegoats for the problems in this world. Those who would paint all Republicans or Democrats as "evil" or "stupid" are too simple-minded to have a rational debate. Stereotyping all liberals or conservatives, or classifying all people as either one or the other, paints the world in overly simplistic black and white terms.

Bigotry against people with differing political philosophies is just as ignorant as the bigotry which drives racism, sexism, and religious persecution.

The current climate between liberals and conservatives is appalling. Our founding fathers were mostly conservative, but they created a liberal government. The two are not opposing concepts. Liberty cannot exist without law; freedom without moderation.

These terriost attacks were planned long before Bush even enter office. Clinton did nothing to protect us or anyone else for that matter. All he cared about was Monica Lewinski and making himself happy. Hillary Clinton ran the show so maybe their both to blame. Oh yea, a President doesn't make decision entirely himself; that's why we have congress!!!!
Saddam is as gulity as they come!! I say he got off to easy; he should have been put some where like Alcatraz to sit and die.
These men and women chose to go into the service to protect our country; yes it is very distrubing what they see and go through. They are our HEROES!!! NEVER FORGOTTEN!

So who's really to blame? Well everyone! We vote for these people, but when something goes wrong oh no I didn't voted that person never. What is wrong with you people?

Not only are we fighting overseas; we are fighting here in America. People come to America because we are the land of the free; are we too free?

what if you are the victim of a crime, how ever for some reason (the cost of prosocution) the person charged is charged with a significantly lesser offense. Does the victim have any course of action if the eyewitness reports and statement by police on the police report indicate a larger infraction? this occurred in Ohio if that makes any difference.
