I'm not sure there is a way to connect with our military via email or letters on a one to one basis. To give out their names, etc, would be an invasion of their privacy and may even open them up to hate mail. The American Red Cross may have a program.
In the meantime, I have been sending a card a day through a program sponsered by Xerox. The cards are done by schoolkids and you have an assortment of sentiments or can write your own to go with the card you choose. You just give your name and town.
It is free and you may send as many cards as you wish. There is a discription of the site when you log on.

I was wondering if you could go to a local guard unit by you. If you can talk to a commander there. If there is not one nearby, go to (OR CALL) a recriutment office (one of them in EVERY TOWN) and see if they could help you out. I bet that they would be tickled to hear from you! GOOD LUCK!

Ask the administrative officer of the Armed Forces for the addresses of the military personnal so that you could send letters to them.

I would really like to know that question myself. I feel like we should show our troops more love and support especially what they are faced with now that Saddam Hussein has been hanged. I really want to know also so if you could please let me know at prissyjaz@yahoo.com thanks
