How may died per month in WW2?
8,200 on average.
50 on average in Iraq. One life lost sucks big time. But is often necessary. What would have happened if we had 24/7 media coverage on Bloody Omaha Beach? Would the USA have lost their will?

The stupidity of the Baghdad puppets beggars belief. First, they commission a kangaroo court which refuses to consider charges relating to the invasion of Iran in 1980, or the gassing of the Kurds or any other event in which the Western powers were complicit.

The farcical trial itself allowed Saddam, in the eyes of the mass of people in the Middle East, to replace the humiliating image of his capture with him as the confident accuser from the dock. The perfunctory dismissal of the appeal and the dossier of complaints from international jurists only added to the perception of "victor’s justice".

US GOVERNMENT DESTROYED AFGANISTAN FOR OSAM BIN LADEN AND HIS GROUP & IRAQ FOR SADDAM, WHILE THIS THEY DESTROYED THE WHOLE COUNTRIES AND KILLED PEOPLES WHILE THE WAR. IF IT IS RIGHT FOR US GOVERNMENT, THEN WHAT EVER SADDAM DONE IS ALSO RIGHT. EVEN THOUGH HE DONE ONLY IN HIS COUNTRY AND HIS PEOPLES. BUT THE US GOVERNMENT WHAT EVER DONE IS A BRUTAL THING. THIS WILL SURELY BRING THIS US GOVERNMENT TO AN END.

I don't know how many different times I have seen that George Bush should have been hanged today. Instead of, or in some cases with Saddam Hussein.

Saddam Hussein was tried and convicted by his own people. George Bush has not been tried for anything. He hasn't even been accused of any crime in the Congress or a court of law. It is fair to express discourse you feel with the administration, but at what point did the court of public opinion become more important than the actual laws of the land. If you truly believe in the Constitution, as liberals claim they do, then why do you not believe in one of the basic tenets, which is innocent until proven guilty? If the next Congress chooses to bring impeachment then sobeit. If as a result Mr. Bush is found guilty of any articles of impeachment then I will be happy to stand with liberals and demand that justice be done, but until that time all this rhetoric goes against the very concepts you accuse the president of violating.

I'm 21 yrs old male.
my citizenship is Indonesian, I've finished my bachelor degree in australia in computing and mathematical science. (just like computer science).

I want to get permanent residency in a country, where I can survive by just using english language.

So far, I know that I'm eligible for Singapore, US(but waiting for lottery's result) but I need more options.
I'm not eligible for Australia, since I don't have enough points :(

Do you know which other countries can I migrate?

Thanks

In my novel, I want to have a mother travel back to her birthplace - the Philippines - and adopt a young girl she spends time with in a local orphanage. Is this arrangement legally possible? If not, how can I change circumstances?

Ethiopia is a close U.S. ally and capturing suspected al-Qaeda terrorists is a major priority for the United States in the Horn of Africa.

The U.S. has a counterterrorism task force based in neighboring Djibouti and has been training Kenyan and Ethiopian forces how to protect their borders.

The Navy's Fifth Fleet also has a maritime task force patrolling in international waters off the Somali coast. The mission of both task forces is to capture or kill al-Qaeda elements in the Horn of Africa and will act if given a clear opportunity.

I am currently writing a novel based on an acquaintence of mine. I found her story of adoption and family particulary fascinating, and my book is very largely based (although I have created my own scenes and changed detalis) on that part of her life. Her character too is largely based on herslef. Is this allowed? It certainly isn't a biography, as a good portion is purely based on my own imagination; but the story as whole largely resembles 'her' story or what i see her story as being. * Her real name and others' are not used.
