They're trying to gloss over the fact that we had him killed.

Because the media never lies, we all know that. But, the fact is, they used what was needed to get the job done, and nothing but security was used on the part of the Americans to influence this trial or it's outcome. This indeed was a trial by the judicial branch of the Iraqi government.

Unfortunately, this government is dominated by Shiite who were Saddam's enemy. This puts a cloud over the even handedness of the trial, yet the outcome seems to be the only logical and realistic conclusion that could be drawn, given the magnitude of the crimes that were leveled at Saddam. Justice has been served, however the venue was tainted, given the sectarian imbalance of the proceedings.

As many times as it takes for those against all of the US to realize that it was done by a court of his own country....

3000 who died would be happy to know their lives were not in vain, as part of our goal has been accomplished - Saddam caught and tried.

As many as they want because...
The soldiers that went over there knew what they were getting into, when they joined the military...
Saddam was a tyrant who killed his own people if they showed any sign of independence, and he kept them on a short leash by starving them while he sat in a comfortable mansion, (Note... he had what? Eight mansions? Each one would have food prepped as if he was at each mansion...). He lived in fear because he had way too many of his own people that wanted him dead. America just helped in the matter... Not to say there weren't other reasons Bush sent in troops, but once captured, Saddam was turned over to his own people to judge his fate. I for one won't miss him.

As many times as it takes for people like you to get it through your head. 3000 is petty compared to the hundreds of thousand that the dictator Saddam killed

The media can say it as many times as they want too.

Maybe they should say it one time for each person Saddam was responsible for killing.

No. It didn't take that much to get him to court. It took a few guys checking out a spider hole.
