Marijuana is not even addressed by Iraqi legislation nor most other Asian, African and Middle East countries.
Posession is not even illegal in Canada.
I doubt that they are even the least bit concerned over it.

Marijuana is adressed and is illegal in all Asian countries.In countries like Malaysia and Singapore, it's death by hanging to possess and to sell drugs like marijuana. And in Iraq, the constitution and the legislation body is new. I think they are more worried about stopping the car bombs and killings and the occupation and in-fighting to worry about drug legislation. But sometimes, don't you wish they would just sit down, shut up and smoke the peace pipe?.

I bought weed already rolled into joints from storekeepers throughout Saudi and Iraq. Didn't bother to ask if it was legal.

Drugs of any sort are strictly prohibited in Iraq. Even alcohol consumption is taboo.
