Theres abunch of questions and answers on here saying that we should execute GWB because its hypocritcal that we executed Saddam and not Bush. Are these people just ignorant or are they retarded?

First, the Iraqis executed Saddam, not Bush.

Second, the President of the USA cant declare war and militarial invasion w/o the approval of Congress. But yet everyone blames Bush for the lowest scaled war in US history.

Saddam caused the death of over 1,000,000 men/women in the Armed Forces in the two wars he started, and commited genocide of 100,000 of his own civillians. How can you even compare that to a man? People say because "he killed 650,000 Iraqis and 3,000 US Troops"; somehow he did that when it was Congress that declared war. But how can you even compare the two?

So are these people just plain ignorant, or in fact retarded?

Even the people who deny the holocaust admit Saddam was trying to eradicate an entire ethnic group(Kurds), yet you still claim we shouldn't have gone into Iraq. Why?

Hi, earlier this year my husband and I stayed at a hotel for a month. The manager accepted a post-dated check for the next week, which cleared. When we left, we gave him the rest of the money in another post-dated check, which he agreed to hold and did hold till a month later. On the memo of the check it says in big letters "DO NOT CASH UNTIL 9/30/06", which he did. However, it bounced. We offered to pay in payments and he refused, taking it to the DA. The DA just sent a letter saying we need to pay it in 5 days or face a criminal complaint and summons or possibly a warrant. I was under the impression that you could not be prosecuted for post-dated checks, as that is a civil matter, not criminal, and is an extension of credit. Is this legal? Are they just trying to scare me? Should I get a lawyer?

For any of you out there who are either emergency or 9-1-1 dispatchers (as I am), have you ever been able to get anyone to attempt CPR when there is a cardiac emergency call? We are quite frustrated at my comm center because everytime we get one of these calls and tell someone we are going to tell them how to do CPR, they always refuse! If your husband/wife/child were dying in front of you, wouldn't YOU attempt it? Some thoughts, please.

Say you were sentenced to 20 years for major theft, but you innocent. After a year or two you attempt to break out, but don't succeed and get caught in the act. You've caused a bit of damage (but nothing serious) and so, naturally, your sentence increases. What if after a while longer you're found innocent of your original crime. Would you be set free? Or would you still have to serve some sort of sentence for attempting to escape?

I'm living proof that seat belts won't always save lives. I was in a side impact accident and would not be here had I been wearing my seat belt. I've also heard many similiar stories. I don't see how they can tell us what side of the odd's to play. Even our lives aren't our own any more. I don't hear them telling cancer victims they can't have a surgery that the odd's aren't favorable on. I diffinately don't see officers at local conveince stores writting citations for buying power ball tickets. I can't beleive ( I'm also speaking to myself with this statement ) that we as Americans would stand for this infringment of our rights. I beleive that laws like these are softening us as a people. That they are the begining of what could be the end of America as we know it. Am I the only one that sees this or feels this way? Anyone I've spoken to on this seems to nod and shrug. I agee they do save save lives but are'nt we sendind a message to our leaders by swallowing it?

The College sent me an international student's application. And they already told me that I needed to do the Toefl.

My question is: Is it hard to get a student's Visa??... I'm not there yet, (i mean I haven't started yet the process with the embassy, due to the fact that I haven't done the Toefl.
Thanks

I know all Muslims are not terrorists, but aren't all the insurgents enguaging in the bombings Muslims?
I am amazed at how many are willing to strap a bomb on their body and blow themselves and innocent bystanders apart.
Fathers leaving wives and kids behind to fend for themselves? It seems like a selfish act, while creating a hardship on the surviving family members of a homicide bomber.

According to the SEIU Local Union Bargaining Agreement for State employees, our vacation and sick time cannot be used without the employee's consent when injured on the job and out on a valid Worker's Comp claim. However, my time was used without my consent. I received incorrect and misleading information from our Union coordinator. So, I wrote to the Union lawyer and was basically given the "brush off". I PAY my dues. There IS a contract. How can I get it enforced if my Union won't help me? Do I go to the Federal Government?
