This is how the USA spreads FREEDOM & Democracy
They killed 3.5 million Vietnamese....to free them from communism.
Actually the USA is a cure that is worse than the disease....but there is money in war.
plus we get to worship our heros

The war in Iraq was not simply to get Saddam. He was only a part, which you would know, if you paid attention. The war is about freeing a country of tyrany, and developing a democratic nation. Giving new hope to a torn country, and routing out terrorism. Saddam Hussein wasn't complying to the resolutions, and on the top 5 list of terrorist countries, and believed to have WMD which were found. His regime is included in the war against terror, not JUST for USA, but for Iraq's own people.
The lives of our good soldier's is never worth the pain we suffer when we lose them. They deserve the highest honor imaginable, for staying the course, and doing for us what some of us cannot do, (or WONT, like you. You should be on your knees thanking them, for the right to make nonsense). You are hurting our good soldiers when you exploit them like this.
They are there to do a job, and they do it well. They know this, but don't need people like you trying to tear their honor down. Bless American, and British soldier's for having the strength and honor to bare this war, even with the distention of uneducated anger, you are trying to cause within America. A gentle kiss, from me to them!

No. Saddam was a harsh ruler yes....but harsh was nessisarry look at the political landscape...if you have dissidents in your territory it is reason for your neighbour to come and invade you. The U.S also made Saddam so powerful if they had left him alone to fight Iran then Iran would have been invaded. Either way the only way lives like this will be spared is if the U.S stops thinking Democracy is the only way and stops pretending that Uncle Sam is the all knowing god.

Uh oh... math problem. Assuming that half of the 650,000 Iraqis matrtyred were males (sorry ladies)... they would be entitled to their 72 virgins in paradise. 325,000 times 72 equals 23,400,000... just under the current population of Iraq....

Seeing that that one man killed over 100,000 and caused the deaths of over a 1,000,000, Id say yes. Especially when you throw in the 900,000 man Iraqi Army the US obliterated. Id say its worth it; Id rather have 650,000 Iraqis die then Saddam starting ANOTHER war ( He started 2 in the past 20 years) where MUCH more Americans would die than the 3,000 that already dead.

Unfortunately good people die when bad people exist. Hopefully the middle east has a chance to prosper.
It was worth all of it.

Let's put your brilliant question in perspective:
The total estimated loss of life caused by WWII was 62,000,000 people for 1 dead Hitler.
Was he worth it?
