I WISH HER

Here is my uneducated guess about the probabilities of each being the next president:

20% McCain
20% Obama
20% Edward
15% Giuliani
15% Clinton
10% Other

I have trouble seeing Giuliani and Clinton making it through the primaries. I think Vilsack and Romney will be out after a month. Kerry won't make it far if he runs. I do not see Rice running (or winning a state if she does run). Kucinich will likely stay in until the end, but will likely not place in the top three in any primaries.

Unfortunately a lot of people in the U.S. wouldn't vote for a woman even though a woman would do the job just as well. I just hope to God that a Democrat is voted into office and our government can go back to caring for the people who live here.

I have a feeling it might be John McCain. I'm a moderate but I'm not crazy about Hillary and don't know much about Obama except for the crush the media has on him.

I don't think she can get enough votes... many will vote against her... even if they don't like who she's running against...

an "anybody but her" attitude is clearly present for many...

the south is lost automatically... midwest in jeopardy... if she runs against Rudy... even NYC would be in limbo...

I think John Edwards has the best chance for the dems... maybe McCain for the Republicans... that could be a tight race, with Edwards coming out on top... as I see it now...

but of course... things change... and it's a long ways away...

God only knows.

Let us pray (and I'm not what you'd call religious in a traditional sense) that the next president has a bigger brain than the "current occupant."

My prediciton?

John McCain, if the Republicans are smart enough to run him instead of another morally bankrupt neo-conservative stooge.

I am hoping for either Hilary or John Edwards. And if one of them chose Bill as their vice president, it would be a landslide.
