How long before we run out of oil and there are huge lines for gas stations and we cant heat ourhomes, get to school and work, and mobolize our troops. Are we gonna have effective means of transportation and an alternative fuel. Stop wasting our oil in your remote control cars and dirt bikes and that damn nascar. And those celebrities with their jets and yachts!!!!!

Plenty of oil for the forseeable future. Some is hard to get, and some we'd just rather not (northeastern AK and off-shore CA, for instance).

Who is telling you:
envorinmentalist will tell you the end is near.
oil companies will tell you the end is near the price jumps than surpise a new vast reserve is found and prices go back down.
My guess we are fine for a long time.

Running out is not the problem, we have to stop using fossil fuels because of green house effects. If only we could run out.
