The College sent me an international student's application. And they already told me that I needed to do the Toefl.

My question is: Is it hard to get a student's Visa??... I'm not there yet, (i mean I haven't started yet the process with the embassy, due to the fact that I haven't done the Toefl.
Thanks

Once you have been admitted to a college and have an idea where the money to pay for it is coming from, the college will assist you in getting the visa. Usually it is not a problem.

As others have already said, you need to be accepted by a college first. Then you have to attend an interview with a consular officer and convince him or her that you 1; can afford to pay for your studies and, 2: fully intend to return home when your studies are over.

It is not always simple. If you cannot prove that you must and will return home, the student visa cannot be issued. Many prospective students end up disappointed by being unable to get visas.

Before you can even get a student visa you need to be accepted into a college in the USA, so I would send in that application if i were you. The link below will tell you everything you need to know about obtaining your student visa.

Look, here in the USA everybody with good grades and the desire to study, could study. Just visit the American Embassy, write a College or University of your choice and start asking questions and you will feel better when they give you the information you need. Good luck and I wish you the best. Happy New Year.

I suggest you consider, Chico State in Chico, Calfornia.
I don't know how hard or easy it is to get any kind of visa in your region of the planet, but I hear it's difficult else where, especially if you're going to my country (USA), where you will be welcomed, depending on what city you go to. Chico, Sacramento and San Francisco are the most internationally friendly cities.

If you are accepted and can prove you can pay for your tuition and stay OR that you will have a stipend of some sort, you'll have no problem at all.
