All of my main bills go to my old address in Illinois, like my car payment, credit cards, and such, however I moved to California about a little over 7-8 months ago, and have had odd jobs on / off since I have moved here and I have lived in an Apt. here with my boyfriend for that last about 4 -5 months. Can I still file in Illinois? Or do I have to file here? (Any Illinois or California Lawyers out there that can help with this as well?) Any answers to this question are welcome.

I mean literally people saying "Look, I have to much to do... maybe next year." -- And NOT the ACLU suing to ban Christmas or anything of that sort.

Would you care?

Conservatives want everyone in the world to hate us, thus increasing the liklihood of terrorist attacks. They want a budget deficit, and a huge federal debt. They want to kill as many of our soldiers as possible in a senseless war. They want to elect the most incompetent men to the Presidency....etc. I love my country, but why don't conservatives ? Please help me understand.

I don't mean to sound ant-religion, but I just get sick and tired of the Christian right saying our "fore-fathers would be rolling over in their graves" at our country today over issues like abortion and gay marriage. The last time I checked, the whole reason our country was founded was for religious freedom. i personally believe our fore-fathers would be rolling over for what the Christian right is trying to do to our Constitution. the very first sentence in the Constitution speaks of religious freedom and discusses separation of church and state. that must mean its important. someone please explain what is happening here?

Globalization is destroying the philosophical underpinnings of our republic by the following axiom: The greatest good=increased profits.

The neoliberalism of both parties has degenerated the debate in our society from an attempt to dispassionately determine the high-minded "commonweal"; to "whats in it for me".

The only common bonds which can possibly hold a multi-cultural society together are shared ideals.

In light of the absence of shared ideals: What is now the basis of our nation?

Presenile Demential is defined, in part, below and several psychiatrists have determined our President suffers from it.

with all the crimes committed today murders, drive by shootings, etc. Why do these crimnals get by so easy? There should be stiffer penalties for crimes, and it should start with the juvinal devision and go on up.I feel that if you are old enough to know right from wrong then you are accountible for what you do at 12 you know killing is wrong then tried as adult. and cut the appeals process if you are guilty then limit the amount of times on appeals and do what must be done.

Four Palestinian missiles were fired from Gaza early Thursday, seven on Wednesday. No one was hurt. That makes over 40 since the ceasefire went into effect. But only Israel has ceased firing.

The last three missiles detonated on the Israeli side of the Sufa crossing into Gaza and south of Ashkelon.

The first landed near Mefalsim, the second and third in Sderot and Kibhutz Erez. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in Jerusalem that Israel cannot stay passive much longer in the face of these attacks. More than 40 missiles have been fired at Israeli civilian locations since the purported ceasefire declared by Palestinian armed groups last month.

What are the Israelis waiting for before they begin to act responsibly and fight back?

Both sets of numbers are reported by the same folks. If both are wrong, maybe Saddam was only a little killer like the US, not a big one worthy of war.

It says that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But then, when illegal immigrants try to pursue happiness by coming to the US, you try to stop them.

That doesn't make any sense.

Weren't the national security interests of the US best served by a stable Iraq?
We have supported many dictators, and we armed Saddam in the first place.
Now Iraq is in chaos.
Are we (the US) better off?
If we got rid of Saddam for humanitarian reasons, why don't we stop genocide in Darfur?

If these guys are so upset by the sight of womens hair, send ladies with long hair and bakinni's on. The soldiers can't fight if they are all hot and bothered. Send a group of hotties to Iraq.
Read in the bible where this town of Medianites, sent these women over to Isreal to corrupt the men. It was against God's law to commit fornication or adultry so the men had to die.
24,000 killed by their own men for disobedience. Cause you know they had to do it.
