Funny you should ask. that's what I think is going to happen in the next Presidential election; Bush will announce their will be no election due to pressing terror issues.

Well if you think about it Christmas should not really be about the businesses, it should be about being together with our family and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because Santa Clause is actually from a Saint, which sould be Saint Nicholas, and if you worry about the business's and such about cancelling Christmas, you are wrong. I mean I'm 16, you guys should be telling me this stuff. (No Offense)

I have a brother who celebrates Christmas...but for the real reason we have it. He doesn't give gifts at Christmas. He gives a gift surprisingly sometime during the year with a little Happy Holiday note. Last year he bought me an SUV in August!!! He sent me a card, and I think he has the right idea! It has gotten so commercialized and glitzy it actually depresses me. I'd welcome a break from the all the hustle and bustle, to be honest!

nope - wouldn't faze me a bit.
I enjoy seeing my family- but would be just as happy to see them in July when the lines at the airport aren't so abominable. And I go to church every Sunday, so it's not as if I need a special day to pray.
Not to mention, the MONEY that would be saved.
I get a kick out of the holidays - and I like putting up a tree and all - but as far as really caring about Christmas - nope.

I wish Christmas was canceled every year. I hate spending money buying people gifts. I could be using all that money on my self. Maybe buy a HDTV and an Xbox 360 or something lol.

Christmas was almost canceled in the 1960s "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" due to weather until Santa discovered Rudolph's nose-so-bright.

wouldn't bother me. I'm not a big fan of the Christmas hype. I believe in Jesus....but I don't think the way we celebrate Christmas is the way he would have wanted it. A special mass on this day would do me fine.

Not in the least. It would be nice to use my only year off this week taking personal time instead of running all over the place dealing with long lines and attending several dull parties.

of course!!! holidays are ever so much more pleasant than work, none of them should be cancelled, ever!especially by some pitiful knot-head with screwed up ,consumerist values who thinks work and money are so important that they must consume ur entire life.as the saying goes,"no one on their death-bed ever regretted they hadnt spent more time at the office, plenty have regretted not spending more time with friends/family.""but,thats just me.i once took a one hour aptitude test-only to discover that im good at "leisure".happy hols, one and all!enjoy life, its short and u only get one!!!!!

How can Christmas be cancelled? I'm sorry, but the concept doesn't make any sense.
