They had 100% positive feedback from 50 people but today 3 others have said they've not recieved items either. I only have their email to contact them, their mailing address is just a forwarding address. The bank is no help (payment sent by cheque) so I can't track'em down, their name is Feri-imports but thats unheard of and the cheque was made out to YLM Ltd, who I also can't track

Don't know what else to say, except stop payment on the check if it's not cleared. If it has, file a fraud report with e-bay. Because of the relatively low amount, eBay may refund your money. (In the future, use PayPal--they have better insurance and refund your money more quickly).

ok i exploit ebay there is away to verify the undertaking and get you cash back. the way it would paintings: you pay for merchandise via utilising paypal and the money are saved in a threshold he's notified of this and that he ought to deliver the object and he gets the money as quickly as you have won the object and gave him good comments. the money are then released into his account and you have the object: a satisfied sale. now on your case: if it has already been credited out of your card i reckon you ought to have performed an instantaneous fee and that i think of he gets the money directly away. you ought to have the potential to win this occasion and get you cash back relatively via doing what scammers do provided you used paypal yet you arent scamming. there must be someplace you may record a foul transaction or sale the two paypal or ebay im not sure verify it out, yet you record to ebay or paypal i cant remember which one it quite is which you haven't any longer recieved the object. and because it quite is been so long his time is up you ought to have won it i think of two weeks is the shrink. it is going to take you thru an option element telling you what to do one is deliver an e mail and notice if there's a reaction etc basically stick to it. paypal or ebay will then rigidity for him to coach a evidence of delivery which he cant do or you wil have recieved the products i.e. you will possibly have had to sign for it. for this reason paypal will refund you cash from the transcation through fact he cant practice that he published the object.

Was it from an international seller? Overseas? I sell on E-Bay all the time and some of the overseas buyers get the cheap economy shipping, and no matter how many times I put in my ad for them to be aware that economy shipping takes 28-42 business days, they still contact me in a couple of weeks wondering where it is. I don't know what kind of shipping you chose. If it was economy-you will have to wait, if you paid for air service it probably should of been to you by now, I would file a complaint with the dispute console, they will investigate and refund your money to you. Keep the check information in case they need it.

I assure you, it won't ruin Christmas. Your friend/ loved one/family will understand! Don't get worked up over it, these things happen. If the bank is no help, I'm assuming you have already attempted a stop payment. . . contact eBay and see what they can do. . .I think they have a mediation type of service. . .the seller might have sent it and its just taking a longer time to ship. . Good luck, and don't let it ruin your holiday!

Merry Christmas :-)

First off, Christmas is not ruined. Count your blessings that you have 72 pounds to waist on eBay! The holiday is about Jesus and what he has done for us, not getting or giving presents.

Secondly, you're SOL. Just give them negative feedback, that's all you can do. Caveat Emptor!!

E-mail eBay immediately and explain in depth your situation. They, (and pay pal, if it was used) are the ones to contact. As for getting your money back - good luck, but don't count on it.

I would file a claim with EBAY, they usually handle things pretty well.
