As gays can enter the navy where they can be locked up for months with hundreds of young men, midgets would certainly be able to join the army.

Very short people are excellent for some jobs- e.g. driver in a tank (not much space there).
Real midgets? I doubt it. Would have too much problems handling a rifle

There are height requirements for the army:
Males-60" or 5' tall
Females- 58" or 4'10"

They should be,little people could do alot of things,big people can't.They'd be great in the engineers fitting into places the average height person can't.
