Why do conservatives want to destroy the United States?

Conservatives want everyone in the world to hate us, thus increasing the liklihood of terrorist attacks. They want a budget deficit, and a huge federal debt. They want to kill as many of our soldiers as possible in a senseless war. They want to elect the most incompetent men to the Presidency....etc. I love my country, but why don't conservatives ? Please help me understand.

Sure, conservatives want to destroy the U.S.

Liberals don't want equal rights, they want equal results. Even if it means that the majority needs to yield to accommodate the few, or the one.

We should drop love bombs on Iraq and write letters to the terrorist consulates instead of dessimating them and liberating their people.

The budget deficit is something that both sides are guilty of, but when the Republicans overspend, it isn't on social programs or welfare. The Democrats cannot make the same claim. Larry Elder once said that the Republicans will often take a penknife to a problem that requires a machete. The Democrats will say, "What problem?".

We need to end this government will take care of you from cradle to grave mentality. Only then can a real discourse begin between conservatives and liberals. Liberals also need to acknowledge problems within their own camps instead of calling every accusation a right-wing conspiracy.

And Libs are any better? Lets look at it this way, back in the day, ie wwII, who had the most power in that war? we did, right? Well, now that we are ran by a bunch of PC lap dog LIBS everyone thinks we are a bunch of pushovers and will do anything to please anyone. We can no longer stick up for ourselfs, because we are busy trying to get everyone to like us. I don't agree with this silly little war, but when we flex some muscle and demand respect, we dont get punked. Look what happened with Japan. They came over, trying to be big and bad, and messed us up. So we went over, droped a nuke and they gave up. If that happened now, we'd have a 50 million press confrences about it and try to find a solution that would take years and years and years and the world would hate us even more.

Conservatives:

1. Believe that 9/11 was an act of war upon the US, and know that we will have to fight Islamofascism or it will consume us.

2. Believe that tax cuts are good, and that money is best spent by the people who earn it, not fat bureaucrats.

3. We believe that the UN taking bribes from Saddam to ignore any resolution was a bad thing.

4. We believe that our military is filled with great people, who deserve to do their job unhindered by silly politicos.

Liberals:

1. 9/11 was probably planned by Bush and Cheney, it wasn't real, and we need to ignore it. BUT, if it was real, it's the fault of America for supporting those Jews in Israel.

2. We need to become Socialist like Europe, tax everyone and everything in order to make the world like us. We want their stagnant economy and 10% unemployment.

3. Saddam was a pretty good guy, sure he killed a million of his own people, but it is the Iraqi culture. Plus, Sean Penn said it was nice, and we believe him for the mental giant he is.

4. We admit that we disdain the military and would like to spit on them and throw bags of urine at them like we did during the Vietnam war, but also realize that the political environment would not allow us to do so at this point. Our favorite phrase? BABY KILLER!

I'm sorry but we would reather take the war to them instead of having it here. Is that so bad? As for the fedral debt you have that backwards we are against spending more. You increase the terrorist attacks by showing how unstable our goverment is when you call bush a moron or idoit. Last I check bill(dem) had left the boarders open to attack. We found this out at 9/11

While I happen to think that Bush's policies and those of his predecessors since FDR, have created enemies, i dont believe that labeling any group be they cons or libs as activly seeking to destory the USA, is factually correct, as we are fundementally open to change via the polls, and while we may disagree, isnt the right to disagree what makes it work

There are much better ways than the ones chosen. The main stream Conservative have been totally brain washed by Anti-Christian rhetoric disguised as the "Right" They say "we want Christian America" but there actions say differently. War of any kind is not Christian in any form. Yes there are other ways to change humanity for the better than death.
