discipline and motivation, and yelling but the key word is "hands off". MCRD shouldnt be a place where little dick DI's needing to go on a power trip to compensate for what they are lacking. "hands off" is the key and also not depriving the recruit nourishment after a hard day of basic training. i bet most drill instructors dont even whip their own kids but have the nerve to beat up a recruit in their platoon. my question is for a law-abiding country, the USA, is this, why do the majority of u cover up for sadisitc drill instructors in the marine corps?

Here are some of my ideas.
1. No marriages can take place until 4 months after applying for a marriage liscense.


This will eliminate all those irresponsible people that get married shortly after meeting.


2. All couple must do mandotary counseling before marriage this will help weed out couples that do not really communicate( ex let's say the counsler in seperate discussions ask the women how many children she plans on having and she says 4 then he ask the man and he says 0 do you see a problem that the couple might not have discussed)


3.Encourage policies thru tax breaks and incentives for couple to stay together.
These are just some of my ideas I would love some thoughtful response and solutions to this problem

In Sarasota, Fl there is a lawsuit between politicians claiming they were victims of an undervote because people didn't vote for them on the ballot. It hasn't occurred to them that maybe both candidates sucked. They just blame the vote on the machine. If we had the extra choice of neither of them - could that change politics?

Man, most of them couldn't even 'pledge allegiance' to the U.S. when asked DIRECTLY with absolutely NO PRECONDITIONS !!

Many of you know that I ask hard-hitting and sometimes slanted questions, but I also ask many, many DIRECT questions . And for the life of me, I cannot understand just what is " IT " that blocks REASON and LOGIC from exiting their mouths !!!

I would like to know, preferably from a Vietnam vet what to do here. My lover is a vet who had a very difficult time (as thousands and thousands did) for a lot of years when he came home. This was followed by financial problems and divorces etc...He has been through many years of therapy and has done remarkably well. He is generally very well adjusted, gentle and compassionate. I am exceedingly proud of him!

He is having a very hard time right now and is isolating himself for hours and hours at a time in his work room - just smoking and thinking, etc.. He is still kind and has shown no temper or anything like that, but I don't know how to help him. He has not offered to talk about it, though he knows that I would listen and be there for him.

Our love life has come to a halt over the last eight days and he is staying up all night, just chain smoking, working on little projects, etc.. For the last couple of nights I've gone out to his work room in lingerie at midnight

It's almost as if she is obsessed with my children and my family in general. Despite two restraining orders file and granted against her she continues to stalk, call, leave notes for an in general harass my children and myself. She is also a felon who served time in Danbury prison, and is currently out on bond for commercial burglary in Burbank, CA. She has a long history of credit card theft, forgery, and bank fraud. Even though all of this information is public she continues to deny her real identity.
