My son recorded my husband and me behind our back having a fight--nonviolent, run-of-the-mill, typical family argument, not out of control. A social worker took it to family court as "evidence" and as a result we got a (noncriminal) neglect charge and they took away the custody of my son.

We fight and argue a lot less than most families we know. I thought I was soing a good job of keeping the family atmosphere calm! How could they do this?

I bought a diamond ring for alot of money and when it was made 3 July 2006 the guy said take it home and try it on...etc see if it fits you. it didnt yet the size is wrong because the ring was wide so its the sellers fault not mine etc...late november i took it back to be resized (was busy) and today was told that cant be resized because would damage the ring. ive also been told nothing they can do...im basically stuck with a ring i paid for over 5 thousand and nothing i can do about it. is this true? am in ireland? any advice would be greatly apreicated?

Im a healthy non-smoker and I work in hotel and smokers have to smoke outside and their cig smoke drifts comes into the hotel lobby from the outside and now Im sick. There should be laws against this abuse. My lungs cant take it anymore because of smokers......but I need to pay my bills. What can I do?

I won a judgement in court 3 months ago and have not yet been paid. I filed the judgement in at the Monroe County PA court house to be on file. Hopefully this will get back to the credit bureaus. What can i do now? You cant granish wages in PA and the sherrif told me that a sherrifs sale on his property usually doenst bring in any money. Anything else i could try? Thanks

The United States has become the punching bag of both the world and many of her own citizens. We are blamed for everything that goes ever wrong in the world, but never seem to get any credit for what goes right. The United States provides more aid and stands in defiance of abuses against human rights more than any other nation in the world. Yes we have engaged in some negative activities in the world and on some issues we must bear some burden, but it really doesn't matter either way because all the good we do is quickly forgotten while the bad is remembered forever. I don't know about you, but I don't really care what the world thinks, because they will profess to hate us no matter what we do short of total appeasement and whenever they need help they will run to us first. However, when this attitude comes from many of own citizens I have to admit it frightens me. What about you?

I work at a bowling ally, today when I got off of work I found that someone had broken out my passenger side window... two days ago the same thing happened to someone else. Also someone had stolen anouther person's license plate. Since this has been happening on the bowling ally parking lot, are they responsible for paying for it? They even have security watching the lot.

I applied k1 visa. I took my interview, 2 times finger printes, signature capture... etc. did everything all we had to.
They said: Wait!!!!!!!!!!!! we will send you green card within 14 days to 6 mouths they will send my green card. is it really take that long after all?
