We recall governors. Why not Bush and Cheney?
He lied in the "State of the Union" Address, and knew it, and we went to war on that.
Isn't that perjury?
Colin Powell says that presenting Bush's tainted evidence to the UN is the worst thing he ever did.
Isn't this, and the deaths of tens of thousands for nothing, enough?

So stop calling him a criminal unless you have something substantial. You disagree with him.....fine. but admit that he is not a criminal. Or is your hatred too great?

The training to become an armed police officer in the streets of New York is 14 weeks. In such a diverse community where unfortunately there still exist racial tensions, can we realistically expect an unbias officer after three months of training

In 1999 four New York City Police Officers shot 41 bullets at an unarmed person 19 of which struck him. He died without a cause, but they were not charged with any wrong doing

In 2006 five NYPD officers shot 50 bullets at three unarmed persons one of whom died from his wounds.....One of those officers is a Army veteran who shot once.

Militar service affords the soldier exposure to the wide spectrum of cultures; Should military service be a prerequisite to becoming a Police Officer in these large cities?

Shouldn't the Chief of Police be an elected official as is the case for Sheriff in some small towns?

All of the feedback I've received about this job has been overwhelmingly negative ("it's a dead-end job"..."you're basically just a paassenger and don't get to fly the plane"..."you make coffee for the pilot"., etc.,)

I've flight physicaled and they say I'm okay to go for a nav slot but they disqualified me for pilot. I failed the depth perception test so laser-eye surgery won't do me the slightest bit of good (what a waste of potential talent for someone with a near-perfect PCSM score).

Furthermore, why does the Air Force (supposedly) continue to have such a high demand for navs if GPS technologies are supposedly making these positions obsolete?

Don't worry, I don't believe everything my recruiter tells me.

Hello all,

After hearing Nancy Pelosi's touching speeches about inclusion and non-polarization, I've decided to become a Democrat. However I'm not sure I'd fit in very well. In addition to not being a communist, I do not support cut and run foreign policy, I do not consider George W. Bush to be the spawn of Satan, I am not in favor of murdering in the name of "choice", and I do not want to tax America to death.

Can I still join the DNC even though I'm not a communist?

...they would have still written the second amendment the same way? "Arms" is so vague. Someone could *theoretically* argue that private civilians should have the right to bear nuclear warheads under this terminology but common sense dictates that this should probably be restricted. What do you believe the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote "arms"? Do you believe they left it intentionally vague hoping and/or expecting modern government to interpret the law for today's needs? I am neither advocating for or protesting the second amendment; I just find it a very interesting topic so I hope everyone that answers will be respectful towards me as well as one another.

On a scale of one to 10, what is your value and why?

What about you makes you more or less valuable than another human being?

Serious replies only, please. For the sake of this debate, let's limit the interpretation for Human Beings, to those who are already born and exist in a society.
(I don't want to turn this into an abortion debate, please stay on topic. If YOU must make a statement of your beliefs, do that, but for the sake of the debate, go onto actually answer the question within the guidelines.)
